94 Brave Graphics / Paint Redo

We purchased this 1994 Brave Winnebago 23’ last year and it was in great shape but the graphics were original and cracking / fading so we opted to replace graphics and paint front end and the bumpers .....

Had work done locally here in Bull Shoals Arkansas and it turned out real nice ..... we are waiting on paint to cure before finishing graphics on front end .....

First pic is a before!

Wow!!! It looks fabulous! Can you share the cost and break down the steps?

Took RV to Sign Tech in Bull Shoals, Arkansas and left RV with Terry .....

Terry showed us samples and we selected colors as close to what we thought originals were .....

Terry stripped decals, he has done this sort of work before as he does a lot of boat graphics and actually owns a 1972 Winnebago Warrior so he was on-board for an RV ..... Most stripping was with razor blade by hand and solvents to remove glue .... Terry even washed the RV and cleaned off some stains ..... He didn’t wanted his finished product to have any distraction....

Sign Tech also got Earl involved from Earl’s Body and Paint for the front end and bumpers paint work ..... Earl removed all the lights, etc and painted and returned back to Terry at Sign Tech .... Earl did a super nice job, btw - he even replaced the two front turn signals with LED as old ones were brittle, he did this on this own accord and no extra cost to us .... Thank you Earl ....

Total Cost including paint - graphics was little shy of $4,800 .....

Both Terry and Earl did both phenomenal work, we are really pleased.

You can get graphics made by a local graphic sign shop and install yourself but very labor intensive but what the heck do a side at a time ..... Budget without paint about $800 .....

Or search web and you’ll find guys like in Indiana or Arizona who have files full of graphics and maybe even get price down some .....

Again, very labor intensive ..... Gotta say the looks and people asking what year, at least on trip to Walmart today was pretty gratifying but then we love this little guy and our budget was for a new rig, saved 35 years to buy, but then we found this class A Brave in supreme shape and went used which turned out to be right choice, especially for our Levi LifeStyle ....

Good luck with your coach, looks like ours but longer!

I stripped cleaned, prepped, painted and installed vinyl graphics on our MH a few years ago, and I can tell You that the shops that do this kind of work Earn Their Money. Up to installing the graphics was straight foreword, BUT the Graphics!! A couple Heart Attacks, suicide attempts, a trip to the Looney Bin and I was finally done. It came out great But I'll Never try that Again
