94 London Aire

There's one near me available for about $30,000. I once full-timed in a 92 Kountry Aire which is very similar. The quality was outstanding and I wish I had never let it go. This one appears to be in excellent shape with an 8.3 Cummins and a Spartan chassis. One thing I really like about those earlier Newmars were the hung walls with no concern about delamination.

I'm very tempted, but I wonder if I need to, if I could ever sell it again. I wonder if anyone else has experience trying to market a rig that old.

Yup, I have.
Our first motorhome was a '96 Gulfstream 29' DP which is a bit of an unusual coach in that diesel pushers are rarely that small BUT it sold pretty easily despite needing a fair amount of repair and the folks who bought it were happy to get it, paid cash and gave it a good home.

It was VERY low mileage however and we had already gone through the running gear issues it had developed from dis-use by the previous owner so it was pretty solid.
AND we're not talking $30k either which could make a difference in the available narket.

On the other hand, anyone who knows the difference between quality and current models at similar prices (e.g. a well-built older rig vs a new POS) might be willing - as you apparently are - to "invest" in an older model depending on condition.

For example, our second coach - an '06 Alpine APEX - though not as old as our first nor your London Aire, is FAR from new yet we were willing to pay a "Pretty Penny" for our 1-owner, BMW of motorhomes.
