95 Swinger No Heat inside

We have had this for several years and I never tried the 2 furnaces it has. They both kick on and run but they don't lite and they are automatic lighting I think. Is there something I'm missing ? I had the propane on maybe I didn't wait long enough for them to lite, I don't know. Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks Ronnie

It might be that gas hasn't traveled to the furnace. Is it working at the stove and water heater?

Most RV furnaces are made by Suburban or Atwood, both have lots of online resources. Find the model # (perhaps in the outside hatch) and Google it to find manuals and troubleshooting steps.

Either yourself or a friend or god forbid a service guy, will have to check them out. Starting with a good cleaning of any small openings where insects and mice can make nests. Then check if the sail switch is working. Too much for me to get into here. YouTube is your friend on this one read everything you can on there. But first get your model and make....good luck

Okie,

We recently had a problem with ours not lighting and had to get service in. They removed the furnace, cleaned the mud dauber nests out of the furnace fan area, and changed out the control panel ($170., the Sail switch $38.) and then we found out it was the propane regulator. ($28.)

Has been working like a charm. I was surprised at how easy it was for the repair guy to do it. We would tackle it now after seeing it done. Connections can disconnect with the furnace running so connect very well there.

The way they knew it was the propane regulator was when the stove was lit, one burner, no problem. When a 2nd burner was lit, it sucked the other down. Reduced the flame. Not real obvious, so watch carefully. We were told that the stove top (5 burners) takes less propane than the furnace does.

Hope you find the solution. If you need to order a new one, try PPL Motorhomes out of Texas. They sell appliances and have been the best price we have seen so far.
