96 Itasca slide cylinder rebuild

Hello,
#1 question - Had slide cylinder leaking on 96 itasca on big slide. HWH system. Was told to count threads when removing cylinders and to make sure you install with same thread count. Thinking both cylinders would be same thread count, we counted front cylinder and it was 33 threads and rear cylinder was at 38 threads. Are they suppose to be same thread count because they were not same. Do we put them back at the 33 in front and 38 in rear. #2 question - One other thing when bleeding system should we push slide in by hand or start with cylinders extended.

I would probably use the same number of threads. Then watch closely as the slide gets close to all the way in. It should be even.

As far as bleading the system, I think you just need to run the slides in and out a few times watching the oil level in the resevoir.
