Air Bags

Hopefully I will get all my questions answered before I wear out my welcome here

1989 Sun Clipper, P-30, 454

The MH has air bags on the front (which needs replacing) I was going through the little documantation I recieved and found a Notice from the Manufactor warning against putting air bags on the MH.

Is this warning just a CYA on the part of Gulf Stream -- or is this model different and air bags are not safe?

Thanks,

Terry

Wear out your welcome...Never ! This is just a guess, but I would say if you add after market parts of any kind to a MH, that it might void the OM warranty. So maybe the notice was intended for that purpose... Like I said just a guess...And if you have not been... Welcome to iRV2....
Peace and Safe Travels... D

Don't remember what chassis you have there, but mine is a 79 coachmen with the P-30 chassis. It talks about having the airbags in the front springs from the factory. It seems to me they were Firestone. When mine went i replaced them with Air-Lift brand. About the same.

I'm lost. I've gone to look for me. If I should return before I get back, please ask me to wait.
