Fiber optics cable junction block for things like dash lights and the little lights in some switches on the dash among other places and things.

Fiber optics ?

Who da thunk. Seems a little high tech for three leads. But I'll believe you.

Seeing the light

She's in the storage yard. We will not meet again til tomorrow. I know the odometer lights but that is a bulb. I'll have to trace the 3 "leads" and see where they "illuminate", hopefully. Power and lights are the reason for the dash opening to meter switches for voltages. If you have'nt been there, it is an amazing mess o wires and harnesses and relays and stuff, oh my!

Perhaps some gauges/switches added by a previous owner? Looks like a bulb in the center feeding light to each of the connected fibers.

P.o. Adds

No P.O. adds. Probs are no power (I think) on switches and associated device, ie: dock light/switch light, utility light switch (whatever that is)/util light (wherever that is), hood light switch (lights), no hood light, no radio (was working at one time), map lights (were workinkg) that tie in dash, somewhere (too much stuff to remember), and so on. Fuses have all been good. Probably some stinkin, flimsy stupid ground wire at rear of coach (lol). Time to fire up meter. Then figure out how to get to temp guage sensor, ugh.

International Harvester Company used a variation of that back in the very early 70's. One bulb and they could light up on the switches etc. They never used them on the gauges as I recall as it is a dimmer light but it did work good for switches. Should be a bulb in the middle.

Fiber optics

is a bulb in the middle. It lit at first, then I started to trace an optoc, looked back and was off. Been gone and have not investigated further. This dash is going to be my nemesis
