Any California Gathering or Rally?

Just curious to see if there are any California clubs, rallies or gatherings for Vintage RV's?

Several months ago before acquiring my '84 Bago, the wife and I were driving in the Sacramento Delta area where we noticed several vintage Motor Homes on the road. I assumed that there was a camping gathering that weekend. I'd me interested in participating.

You can check with the Tin Can Tourists, I think they have something out here soon.

Seon,

There is a vintage club that meets at Pismo Coast village every year. I'll try to find the name of the club.

Anyone of you could organize one as an iRV2 event if you'd like. Basically, just contact a CG and have them set aside a few sites for a certain date then post here and put it on the iRV2 calendar. After a few members sign up then work up an itinerary, meals, activities, etc.

You never know what you'll get until you try to have one.

With due respect, I don't want to re-invent the wheel, I just want to enhance it .

1st step is to find out what's out there....

Most of the vintage clubs I know of deal with the really old stuff, say 40s, 50s, 60s. The big ones I do know of really should just call themselves Airstream clubs, since they're 98% Airstream rigs. One big one that does call themselves by the proper name is the Silver City. Periodically they have big rallies and go from place to place.
