Axles

[Nash29v]

Does anyone out there know what axles rating is in my 1997 nash 29v.?
Going to check the brakes on them .can't take it to the local dealer here .
Any help ?

Hopefully 5200# axles


GVWR is 10,400#
Unladen weight is 6517# with a 5003# Carrying Capacity....HUGE
Dry tongue weight (based on UVW) is 1120# (17% Ratio)
10,400 at 17% is 1768# tongue -----leaving 8632 on axles




Typical axle diameters per weight ratings
- 3,500-lb Axles: 2-3/8 inch diameter
- 5,000-lb - 7,200-lb Axles: 3 inch diameter

Thanks old biscuit for the information. Funny thing is the tag that has the sir#ers where written with a pen and now there's a slight impression where thay written all the good stuff ..now I can go and get the parts I need ...your assume ��

Call Nash with your Vin number. They will tell you. It also should be listed on the loading sticker on the left hand front sidewall of the trailer.
