Bad inverer?

Hello. I just got my new trailer delivered today
And I am having an issue with the converter.
I plugged the trailer into shore power and the
Lights came on. But there was a buzzing noise
And the power seemed to be surging. The lights
Would dim then get bright. I touched the outside
Of the trailer and didn't get shocked.
Any idea what's going on? The trailer is a 1978
Terry 24 foot.

Id check the pedistal or outlet you plugged into first to make sure voltage is good and hot / neutral wiring is correct.

I have been plugged into the same outlet for a

Is the battery any good ?

When NOT plugged in, do the lights light up bright ?

Your converter may be attempting to charge a bad battery and kicking out a auto reset circuit breaker.
Listen and look near the battery for a clicking noise as the lights dim.

You also want to check the water in the battery. If very low, it will draw high amps and trip the breaker.

Make sure the battery cables are correct.

Thank you! I'll be checking these tomorrow!
I just got the trailer and about freaked out when
it started doing this. I'll be at least putting the battery on the charger.

Bad battery or bad converter. Put a meter on them to see what's going on.
