Battery disconnect on 89 chinook

We recently acquired a 1989 chinnok concourse. We seem to be having a little trouble keeping the house battery charged. I am somewhat new to rving so I'm not totaly sure where to start looking. I do know the battery is good. On the dash is the battery disconnect switch and also a switch for "use" or "store". I assume the "store" position keeps the battery from being drained when not in use. Now for the stupid question....Does the battery disconnect "ON" position mean that the battery is disconnected or does it mean that the battery is connected? I also thought it may be a switch to seperate the house battery from the engine battery so i t does not drain it as well. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

K&C anxcious to hit the road.
