It looks like it’s been a while since the last post to your thread, how is the rebuild coming along? What kind of progress and decisions have you made thus far?

To seal the edge under that rounded trim, maybe try some Dicor Corner Seal tape. Just take off the trim as carefully as you can. Then use the tape to seal the edge. I’ve never used it but have seen it on YouTube. It looks like good stuff. Then clean up, repair, reinstall the rounded corner trim.
