If memory serves from working on Dodge trucks of that vintage ; 2 9/16"
Shop had a special thin wall socket for the task.
OTC was the tool supplier.
EDIT : Amazon lists the OTC socket ( 2 9/16 ) for the Dana 60 series ( that could be what I'm thinking of ) , and has other OTC sockets form 2 3/4" UP .

Note there are adjustable tools for those spindle nuts ( shop had one of those as well ) and an auto parts store may have one you could rent .
Site computer won't accept the image I have of the adjustable tool ( invalid file )
EDIT: BTW , correct name is " spindle nut " , if your searching for axle nut tool you'll probably only find the axle flange nut size and those you already have off.

Understand your issue , I know I've had those apart from the days when Dodge built class A motor home chassis , using the 80 series axle .
I'll look for the exact size.

Fill the gap between the nut flat and the hub with some round stock. Then turn the hub to loosen the nut. The round stock will wedge in the gap.
Once it's off, take it to the store.

I found a U tube video title ;
" How to replace Dana 80 Axle bearing step by step "
Video shows a " Power Built 2 1/2 " 6 point socket in use .

Just deep enough to hold only the outer nut.
I like that. I hadn't seen it before, and I learned from a bunch of old guys.

Is that hub damaged? The inside should be bored out and round, but it looks like there are 3 flats? Do you have a vibration when driving?

No vibrations, this is the aluminum seal that looks a bit bulging
the picture is from 7 years ago when i changed the simmerrings/seal.

I need to know the dimension beforehand. Before I pull the axle. I'm on the road.
