For tracing wires you can use one of these https://www.amazon.com/Extech-Instru.../dp/B00APD16D2
You hang the tone generator on one end of the wire (make sure it is disconnected from power) and then you can almost walk close to the wire bundles with the wand to see if the wires are in the bundle, then you can start dissecting the wires with the wand and ID which is the right one (tone gets louder on the correct wire). It has saved me time and confusion on my wiring issues (still have one or two to solve).
We're here for you when you need it.
What about wires diappearing behind the walls and travelling (presumably) thru out the unit?
My hazards and blinkers light but dont flash for instance. When I unscrewed the big side hazard assembly, I don't think it appeared to have a bulb that can be changed, at least not in a normal fashion. Seemed to be an entire casing, changing out and rewiring kind of situation like when I have changed a home thermostat before.

If you find the same color wire in any of the bundles ex, green with black tracer (hopefully they did a good job of color coding the wires) then you bring the wand to the wire and see if it rings. On Newmars, white is ground so that would be a hard one to hunt.
Pictures will definitely help us help you.

I "wanted" to go full time living in it sooner than later but I never got everything I wanted anyway.
I don't "plan" on constant driving place to place. It kind of just depends on funds after all the work as disability will become all I will have for fuel, etc. and I am not ready to be considered a "bleeder" (entirely SS dependent therefor "living off" taxpayers) just yet but my current line of work would require returning back to my state every two or three weeks to replenish the money I continue destroying my back to earn.
I feel your pain as our first coach was 18 years old and while in excellent shape, it did require a few items such as tires and a bit of furnace work, but we spend a couple of nice years having fun.

I would be careful young lady about referring to those of us who have EARNED our SS benefits after nearly 50 years of paying into the system as "bleeders" or "living off" taxpayers. There are many scamming the system with undeserved disability claims, etc, etc, but the social security checks both my wife and I receive have been earned and paid for in spades.

And I would be careful being too quick to assume it was aimed at your age group thank you very much. I am quite capable of understanding the difference.
Even I am smarter than that stupidity.

We just bought a 1988 Tiffin Allegro. Its in great shape, but needs a little work. It has 71000 miles on it too, so it will need an engine rebuild eventually, but we should be a ways away from that. However, there are little things I am finding. Like how the battery drains and I can't figure out why. I finally figured out that it is probably because the house battery isn't connected so I can't use the boost to start, but I didn't know that. I'm taking it in for oil change and an inspection when I can afford it, but we aren't traveling yet, so there isn't a big rush.

Then we need to do something about the LP tank. It is pretty badly rusted, so we might just take the whole thing out and go wholly electric. The stove, water heater, and fridge all use LP though, so we have to figure out what to do about that. Stove can be replaced with electric devices, fridge runs on DC as well, and the water heater might need to be replaced with an electric one that we run only when the generator is on.

But beyond that, its mostly cosmetic. I'm learning a lot now, before we hit the road. I want to be able to do everything I can on my own, so I'll find someone who can show me how to change the oil and other filters before we head out on our first trek. We are going to my brother's house in Florida, and he is a motorhead, so I'll have him help with changing spark plugs and anything else we can find that needs to be repaired.

Its a learning process though, don't give up yet. Things will go wrong, thats guaranteed, so have a backup fund for emergencies, and a big book that tells you how everything works so you can build up your own skills and won't have to rely on repair shops every time something happens.
