Door latch - Bargman L300 worn out...
The rotating assembly is worn out on my old Bargman L300 lock in the side door of my Fleetwood.
The fuel pump wiring project has been delayed, so the L300 has popped to the top of the project stack. Some research showed that there are several replacements for the L300... three are from Trimark. The 60-1650, 33677-01-K and 31158-01-K all have the same cutout, latch bore, and backspacing.
AP has the 013-257. Bauer Products has the "BP-12 With Pins". There is a version without the two side pins, and an expensive keypad version that uses 4 AA cells.
See <http://www.bauerproducts.com/?s=bp-12> and <http://www.bauerproducts.com/product/bp-12-with-pin/>
Has anybody had any experience with any of the above?
Ignoring the Bauer keypad model they range from $60 to $120. The difference in cost is not an issue, I just don't want to buy and install a flimsy cheapie that I'll be replacing in a few years.
