Drivers door handle

Hello,

I am in need of some information. We have a 1989 Holiday Rambler on a Chevy P30 chassis that we purchased. It only came with the ignition key. I am in the process of updating all the door latches/locks and underbelly storage locks.

Where can I get a new latch for the drivers door?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris

The locks are installed by HR. A lot of the mfg's used Trimark locks. Google them and see what you can find. If you are trying to find new locks all keyed alike, like they are now I don't know if you will be able to.
I looked on Trimark and I don't see one like you have. Do you find a brand name on any of them?
Also look on the cargo door locks and see if there is a key code on one of them. If so, you can order keys for them. There are not a lot of different keys for those doors so they are not totally secure.

Thanks for your reply. I checked the cargo doors and there is no code on them. They look like the same lock type as the round keys used in the old school soda machines. The only door lock that seems to have a code on it is the door to the generator and house batteries. It has a compression lock, and a key code of NW01 or WN01, but when I look up that key code, nobody carries it.

I figured the best thing to do is order 2 new keyed alike compression locks and replace those. I’ve already ordered new cam locks for the storage compartments and a new lock for the side entry door.

I thought maybe I could remove the lock cylinder for the drivers door, but removing it would require the key, unless I could drill it out and find a replacement.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Chris

New locks

I am very fortunate to have a lock store close to my home. I have had good luck getting parts from PPL Motor Home in Texas. Perhaps post pictures to them for what you are looking for.
