Flashing lights GG

Me and the wife don't often run at nighttime in our rig ; But a annual trip we make to south Texas we decided we'd leave about 4 am to get a good start on a long trip about 450 miles each way.. About 10 miles from home we hit a large bump in the road and everything all the head lights and gauges went to flashing on and off for like a half mile it kept running fine... O course the dear wife looks at me and said what the was that .... Well we went on and made the trip stayed a week came back about 900 miles and nothing else happened she ran like a champ........ any Ideals where to look for this problem would be greatly appreciated .... Thanks PA

Did you check your batteries, to make sure the connections are good and tight? And they are secure? Sounds like a ground somewhere in your light system? Good time to go thru and check them all, wiggle some wire's, and see if you can recreate the light's going off and on! It might just be a bad or weak light switch!
Back in my Trucking days, we had old KW cabovers that this would happen to regular enough, that we always had extra road lights on a different circuit that we could turn on if needed! Rail!
