Have not made a decision yet. May just go up there and enjoy the area. Have not done it in a few years.

I am thinking about going up myself just to see the area again. Love it up there and I believe it will be opened up by then so should be doable.

I am Not cancelling my reservation just yet! Way to early to tell! Sorry that so many are pulling out of such a fun time, but hey, it is what it is! Rail!

Hello M&G,

Just wondering who all is coming. Our Governor has extended some of the restrictions until July 31st but the campgrounds are open. I will call the boat school tomorrow to see if they are open. I know the Island is.

I'll also get ahold of the park so that I can see what they know. They recently were looking for housekeeping help so figure things are still a go there.

I don't want to cancel until to early because I enjoy these so much and we will get to meet some new people this M&G.

Let me know if you plan to come please. Lynne

Lynne, my wife and I are back in Canada and will attend if the international border reopens.

I can't justify a reservation if it will cost me money if I cancel because of the border issue.

It is looking less likely that I will be attending. Not cancelling yet but probably not. Lost of questions about what will be open everywhere coming and going and also what will be open both in the park and on the island and elsewhere. If not this year, how about next year?

Hello M&G,

I called the boat school today to see if they are going to be open since this was one of the things we really wanted to see. They are closed to tours. I think with the way things are going that we need to cancel M&G 2020.

We can revisit this next year if people want to but I think this is the best decision for now. Let me know what you think? Driving this far for some of you, possible issues on the road with places to stay, even going out and getting a beer while here is going to be an issue.

Eating out, two weeks sitting at a CG isn't something I feel good about if we have to do this distancing thing. Let me know.

Well if the international borders don't open up to everyday crossings like was the norm we will not be able to get into the states. If the borders open we will be in the area headed to Toronto (kinda area) and we could just rework the plans. Likely we will just stay in Canada if the hassle is too much.

Lynne, I regretfully have to agree with you on not making the M&G 2020. Too many questions about traveling in a month. Many places I wanted to see on this trip. And meeting new people also. Will want to try again next year. I am hoping Yuma is still on for December.

I have been discussing this my son. They are using their TT for the first time this year at a state park. 4 miles from his house.
With all that is going on. We were going to make the decision Monday. But with your post. I am with the others. Cancel until next year.

Well, I am reluctantly agreeing with the rest of you! It is looking more are more like our trip back to the states is not going to happen either! Guess i will email the CG and cancel! Sad state of affairs! Maybe next year! Rail!

I think it is best with all that is going on. Next year we can revisit going to St Ignace again. I will cancel today or tomorrow.
