Drinking first cup of coffee. 47 with with clear skies this morning. Heading to 80 with plenty of sun. Got garage doors and primed yesterday. Finish painting today. Going some brisk winds today. But that OK because I will be painting with a brush. No other plans.

Flowers for Jira, Sally and Melissa.

Llyod, stay dry.

RonS, good MH is fixed. Now house AC.

Paul, great morning picture.

Rail, flowering tree is going to take over the whole area.

Popeye, today is last day for me to fill boxes with warmth for awhile.

Gordon, watermelon fresh off the vine is good. Hope frost does not kill plants.

Everyone stay safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.

Morning all , Hoping everyone is healing that needs it! Well Sally is finally home again , was a ordeal getting her out of the hospital last night but it's ok . Time for relaxing for her for a few days , she slept well last night . Don't know what those hospital beds cost ? Maybe $10000 a piece , but they sure are uncomfortable ! Ron you do a fine job painting without a booth ! Hope you get your home A/C fixed permenently ! Melissa and Jira prayers to you ! Going to make arrangements for someone to handle collecting our rentals and see what we can get down in Rivers Edge this week. Will probably plan on 2nd week of November if we can. Miss all of you guys and really hope to get together down south ! Bobby

Good morning all!

A few clouds around this am, mostly Carolina Blue Sky. 67* headed for 79*. Watching the weather as I write to see if we are directly in the path of the heavy rain still. Yesterday morning we were in the center.

Rail, amazing growth on that tree! Very pretty! Will it grow tall? Or just bush like? Glad Jira is getting great care and feeling better.

Rons, good news on the brakes. Did they say what they found wrong? Sure hope the A/C guy can get you going. They don't seem to be feeling very urgent about your loss of comfort.

Popeye,,,,,, yup spoke to Gordon and its going to rain. Not a instant thing, taking a few days to take affect.

Curtis, you okay out there? How is Melissa doing?

Ronj, hope garage door painting goes quickly.

Have a sport touring meet coming up 1st of the month. Need to get the bike ready gonna start on that today. Not much to do however never know what I will find when I do my inspection.

Have a great day all!

Well good morning All!

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Mild weather, 73 degrees.

Yesterday we made a run to DFW Airport and picked up the youngest son who flew in to pick up a new pickup he bought online. Nice truck, must have belonged to some old guy who rarely drove it. It looked and drove like a new one. 2016 2500 Diesel Dodge Ram 4WD Maxicab.
It was so quite inside I could hear Son and Melissa talking in the front seat while I sat in the Limo seating back seat. He called on his way home to San Antonio to tell me he was gettin 23.8 mpg at 80 mph. (Normal legal speed in Texas BTY)
He bought it to haul his Race Car trailer with

Nice truck, but I'll keep my 2000 Dodge TD Quad Cab. It's just now broke in, still looks & drive like a new one and I only made one car payment on it.
So, Lord Willing I'll drive it until I can't drive anymore. Love my Truck! .

Melissa has not set a date for surgery. Dr wants her to do physical therapy and build up the shoulder muscles. She has a big bone spur that is painfull when she make that motion. Weight bearing is painful.... And she just confessed that she has early stages of Osteoperosis. So her bones are brittle and may not grow around a new joint correctly.
To top it off, both of her knees are bone on bone. She's determined to shoulder on! (Pun Intended ) But she's not allowed to do Yoga or workouts in our gym.

Bobby, when I came home from the Nursing center we rented a hospital bed for about 2 weeks and set it up in our living room. Couldn't get into our bedroom, so it was a good option. But that bed was so uncomfortable we had them come get it and I bought a single bed and new matteress to replace it with. And that was so much more comfortable. The cost of the new bed was less that what we paid to rent the Hospital bed.
We donated it to a family at Church that just adopted a 4 year old after I was done with it.

Well, gotta go, Burning Daylight!

Good Morning;
Frosted!! Yup we got hit. Most stuff not covered looks a bit peaked. Anything covered seems to have been spared. Will check again later. One blanket blew off of one of the watermelons and it looks like there is a frosted part on it.

Sun is coming up and we are supposed to have some really nice temperatures for the next 10 days or so. Hope it is right because there will be some extra squash given the chance to mature.

Finished cleaning up the trees yesterday. Was able to get to the burning pile as the water is down enough so it is not sitting in water. Still pretty wet but did not get stuck. Will be a nice bonfire next winter when we dispose of the pile. Will need 15 foot wiener sticks to fully enjoy the fire.

Heard they have extended the border closure until Oct 21 but nothing official yet has been published. Hope it is just a rumor and is not true.

Have a great day.

May the best of your today be the worst of your tomorrow.

Hoping Melissa can find some pain relief until they can begin the rebuild .
Dr ordered pre op exercises that just cause more pain ?
He belongs in YARC. That just "Ain't Right".

Sounds like the kid is a Mopar chip off the ol' block!

Gordon, I just got an update from Channel 2 Buffalo and they claim our resident nutcase has extended the closure until end of October.

Watch and weep...

Have heard the same thing. Have not seen it yet on the official website but will go look shortly.

Don't forget nutcase may have to fight an election if parliament votes non confidence so I imagine he is trying to show that he is looking out for Canada.

I was not going to leave until the end of October. Have an appointment for a slide upgrade at the factory on Oct 29. It would have been nice to see them open the border now because I have to make a decision whether to winterize or not.

If the border would have opened now I would simply leave the heat on but with no assurance it will open in Oct I do not want to be winterizing when it is cold outside.

Good morning

Gordon just wondering if you showed them proof of an apt.at Winebago in Indiana would that be considered essential travel. We have had frost south of us. Watching the weather and will cover up the vegetable garden as needed. Some nights it has dropped down to the 40s* Will be burning the propane heater in our RV this weekend. The president of our camping club burst a blood vessel in his eye. He needs to step back and let DH do the pancake cooking. A good leader delegates as needed. In our case we do what is needed and don't have to be asked. Packed the fire wood in the cap of the truck. RV is parked on the street at our house. Cold camping is not for wimps. Take care Ann
