That rig sure is easy to spot in a crowd !
Happy trails Ron .
How's it handling now ?
Looks like you aren't going to be too warm back home , maybe this will be a mild summer

How's the navigator doing on your routing ?

Something new today
The Martian All Kazoo Orchestra
Already have a good fan base....

I had a talk with the RN about the "positive" case friday.
She agreed there was no way to prevent them...Soooooooo.

Official OK in place.

Yesterday Mom escaped her cell !!!!!!!!!!
When I got there she didn't want to go !

"I don't want to get in trouble"
Wouldn't listen to me.
I finally snagged one of the CRMAs and she gave mom "permission" and she had her coat on !!!!

I swung by the fish mkt and NO CRAB !
Second place was a charm and ALL leg meat bonus too !
(I already planned ahead and had the toasted rolls and mayo in the car .)

Took her to her fave beach (some of you got to see it) the surf was crazy high , almost nobody there but 4 surfers.
temps 40s and rain.......we stayed in the car.
Mom usually can't finish a crab roll but this time she polished 'er off and had room for half of another one too.....she usually has to have fries or chips ,,,but I didn't get any I thought it might work , and it did !

Also had a chance to see the managing ranger (it's a state park) and showed her my finds from my detecting (with special permission slip) session a couple weeks ago...The only good ranger is a happy ranger ! (this is important cuz a not happy one can confiscate your gear)

I'm sending mom's leftover karma to Melissa for equally happy results.....

Good morning everyone. Beautiful day here in Tucson Arizona. Popeye so glad you were able to visit mom. I can taste the crab from here. Curtis, prayers for you and Melissa. Second day of my trek home to Texas. Today Las Cruces. Easy 265 miles. Leaving soon. Going to be a little windy today, variable directions. Cooler in New Mexico, high is 64° in Las Cruces. Time for my winter jacket again. Terry, how did the race go yesterday?

Everyone stay safe out there. I hope to see y'all on down the road.

Good Morning/Afternoon;
Nice slow day. Laid in bed for an extra hour. Then a nice breakfast of bacon, eggs, french toast and shredded potatoes. Will not have to eat until dinner tonight.

Woke this morning to white stuff on the roof, deck and grass. Yup we had some flurries. Noted on Facebook that we had more last year so I guess this can be considered a better day. Speaking of which it is flurrying as I look out the window and type this.

Finished taxes just a while ago. Going to wait as long as possible and hope they delay the due date. Have to pay and would like to hang on as long as possible. Don't mind paying taxes! Well yes I do mind. But would not mind as much if they were to spend the money more wisely.

Glad to hear Popeye was able to spring his mom for an outing. It had to be good for both of them. I really like crab rolls so I was salivating the entire time I read his post. Sad to say I continued salivating for a while after I finished reading. Anyway hope the outings continue unchecked into the future.

Safe travels Ron.

Have a great day.

May the best of your today be the worst of your tomorrow. "I'm a man, I can change, if I have to, I guess!"

Good morning all!

54* headed for 70*, Carolina Blue Sky. Going to be a cooler week. A couple days will not make 70*.

The airstream rally is over, they all left happy, the products were a hit. Got all the orders filled before they left for home, nothing had to be shippped. They say there were over 75 rigs attending. Saturday afternoon they had open house, open to the public. You could walk through any rig and check it out. Drew a big crowd, the isles at the market were jammed.

Popeye, great news on your and Mom's outing. She must have loved that! Made me hungry also,,,,,, remembering our trip to Maine with your touring service!!

Spoke to Bobby a few times this weekend, was going to go look at a coach for him but it sold before I could get there. My weekend was booked. Keeping and eye out for another.

Have a dualsport ride planned for Thursday I will be leading. Looks like 6 other bikes coming. Weather forecast in the mtns is cool but clear. Gotta start getting everything ready for that.

Bill, whenn does your park open?? May?

Have a great day all!

Good Morning;
Great days for the last bit. Finished the taxes. Did the company accounts. Popeye got to spring his mom for some quality time. Terry went racing and had a successful first outing.

Finished taxes. "YAY" Have to pay. "BOO". But it was about as expected.

Had flurries on and off for most of yesterday. Made staying in doing taxes and accounts much easier as there was less distraction. Long range is calling for more flurries later in the week. Still no watermelon coming up.

Sorry you missed on the coach upgrade Bobby. There will be more coming up and I think Stan is correct. Once the covid panic is over there will be many good units coming onto the market. It could start happening quite soon. Part of the fun is the looking and dreaming.

Sun is out but not supposed to be overly warm. Today is a tree cutting day at the neigbors so the cooler weather makes it more comfortable to work. Starting to see a difference.

Safe travel home Ron.

Have a great day.

Good Evening,

Did something today we didn't figure we would have to do. Winterized the rig. Burrrrrrrr Going to below 30* next 3 nights.

Going to cover the rhubarb to keep it safe. Also predicting the white stuff.

Everything is green here. Farmer tilled the field behind us. Have you seen the copper metal roofs? I've seen two and they are sharp looking.

Hope everyone is well and travel goes safely. Have a good night. Lynne

Good evening everyone. Made it back to central time zone. Back in Texas. Overnight in Fort Stockton. No issues driving today. Fueled in El Paso. $2.86 for diesel. I have had Monaco three years and 20K miles. This morning when I started I got a beeping alarm from engine compartment. The back-up alarm was going off. It was the first time I heard it because it has never worked before. I did not even know I had a back-up alarm. And this was when I was in neutral airing up. I moved it away from other campers as soon as I could and looked and just decided to drive anyway. It had quit when I stopped for fuel an hour later? I will disconnect it and be done with that. Tomorrow another seven hours and I will be at sister Linda's and be done with driving for a few days. All stay safe out there. I want to see y'all on down the road.

A balmy 60* today.

Dh loaded up all the lawn equipment to mow at church. They had another guy do it. He weed wacked and mowed. Didn't bag the grass. Yea will have brown clumps of grass. Secretary wants to get rid of round plastic and metal garbage cans because they look bad!! You can't fix stupid. We use the cans for picking up leaves. Easier to drag a small can around that the huge city supplied totes. The city spent casino $ so we could have a small garbage can and a bigger recycle. Going to make big bucks on recycling. Last year the cash strapped city slapped a garbage fee on us. Worried about the garbage cans when all the exterior windows are rotting away..eye sore. They a small custom windows that have brick in between. DH scraped and cleaned up the old grill. I put the ceramic squares in the dish washer. Tuesday it will be 46*. Wed. we are going to get 2to 4" of snow. DD went shopping with her aide. I told her to get something the kids could grow. Came home with an expensive mushroom ,tomato and assorted vegetables. DH will rototill up some of their back yard for a small garden. Popeye so happy you had a good outing with your MOM. Take care all. Ann

Good Morning;
Another great day on the go.

Got a lot of trees cut down yesterday. Going to be a number of big piles to burn next winter.

County implemented a complete fire ban. Not even burning barrels or approved fire pits. Only thing allowed is propane fire pits. Most interesting as ground is still frozen but the grass above is powder dry. The little bit of wons we got quickly dried up.

Going to start setting up the bagger to pick up the remaining winter leaves, etc. Some green spots showing on the lawn. Garden tilling is on agenda for next week.

Have a great day.

May the best of your today be the worst of your tomorrow.

Hello everyone. Happy to report I am safe at sister Linda's place. 340 miles today, just under 7 hours. Gusty windy today, out of the North. I was driving mostly East. Tiring. Will visit a couple of days here and then the last 80 miles home. Had a great time this season in Yuma. Sorry about our Canadian friends that could not cross the border and sorry Rivers Edge owner went bonkers and ran everyone off. Next season will be different but we will still make it good. Everyone stay safe out there. I want to see y'all on down the road.
