I’m getting about an hour and forty minutes more daylight here in Kingman than I did up north. The lows at night are about the same yet the days are much warmer. I think I’m going to like being a snowbird.

Good morning!!! 15 here, headed to 35, with partly cloudy skies.

Terry, very sorry I have been misspelling Eleanore in my posts. I am so happy that she is healing quickly.

My post was very short yesterday due to the fact that I fat fingered my keyboard and shut it off. I had to shut it down and reboot to fix it.

I and a neighbor/friend went out to start the motor home yesterday morning to drive it from Cambridge to Deforest. I saw that there was a pull behind TT parked in front of it. Made another call to another friend and he brought his pickup out to move it out of the way and then put it back. Great to have good friends.

Mine started right up after sitting for 2 months. Batteries held their charge.

Looks like it's going to be a warm Christmas. Great for family members that are driving from Denver and Minneapolis.

Keep the shiny side up.

Good morning everyone. Winter starts here in Yuma at 8:59am. 1:25 from now. Light outside, sum coming up in a few minutes. 53° now, going above 70. Christmas is almost here. Taking motorhome up to Vegas for Christmas day and a couple more. Son and his family are flying there frrom Austin Texas to visit DL family. I get to see granddaughters on Christmas day. Been a few years since that happened. Going to overnight day camping in Quartzsite one night going North and also staying one night at Laughlin NV casino to share supper with Frank and Rita and two other couples from Yuma who are driving up there in their cars. Then hope to stop a couple of nights at Needles CA and check out off-roading scene there. Merry Christmas to everyone. We will be back in Yuma to party for New Year's.

Good Morning;
Going to be a lovely day. Burning almost complete. Not much left in the piles so will be very little work to finish the piles in the spring.

Going to be warming up to day to just below freezing. Next three days they are predicting precipitation of the white variety. Cooling off as well.

So far no word on changes at the border for crossing. We will be heading down right after Christmas. "The weather outside is frightful, down south is so delightful". Yes I sang the line in my mind. What I sound like inside is way different than what it sounds like outside! Wont bore you with the details or a demonstration.

Ron - so far the move to 11 has been uneventful. Having some issues with Outlook but was having them before the upgrade. Most of it was the operator error in the setup. Been so long since I set up the mail on our old computers that I cannot remember what I did. I did some things to make backup easier. Now I am thinking I will use the default for setting up the mail and change the backup file. Seems to be a blatant example of use it or lose it.

Safe travels RonS. We should be arriving in Yuma about the same time as you return. Will keep an eye out for you when we are on 95.

Keep getting better Elenore. Friend had an event while skiing with us. He had a stent put in and was back skiing two days later. That was a number of years ago and he is out and about and doing very well. Skis, rides motorcycle, hikes, and does extensive travelling.

We are pretty much ready for Christmas. Hosting dinner so the fridge is full, turkey in the freezer and we have vegetables we grew in the cool room. Janet is going out for a luncheon with the red hat group here so I will be able to wrap her presents.

Have a great day.

May the best of your today be the worst of your tomorrow.

Good morning all!

Warmer start to this day, 55*, high 70*. Overcast day expected. Bit of a wind out there.

Safe travels to everyone this holiday, and the same for their loved ones.

Deb and I are staying here this year. Flights to go home and visit went from $630 for 2 round trip tickets last year to $1,260 this year. A bit too much. We have diner reservations at the casino here reservations for christmas day with Jerry and Lynne.

Welcome Henry!!! Congrats on retirement. If you make it down to Yuma there are a bunch of us here for the winter. Nice area, a little warmer than Kingman. Bring a Jeep!

RonJ, mule looks great. Like the wheels and back rack for carring tools.

Cookie Monster,,,,,,, I mean Gordon. How do you do it. I gain 1 pound per cookie consumed!

Have a great day all!!!

Good Morning

Truck mechanic called and said the transmission pan/seal came in. Suprised he is working on the truck Wednesday the 22nd. Today was DH birthday. DD had him make this Hershey's Chocolate cake with stevia vs sugar. It didn't raise as much. Was okay with vanilla ice cream. Nothing like real sugar!! Glad their is only one piece left. Harvey told DH about your burned Carhart jacket. Explained to me about wearing leg leathers. DH got a burn on his leg when he was welding aluminum at Lincoln Electric Welding school. Glad most of the crew has special plans for Christmas. Continued prayers for all those in need. Ann

32+just had a shower that lasted ~10 minutes . I'm pretty sure
there's a coat of ice on everything. High of 39 @8am then dropping back down for the rest of the day. The rain will continue but end before the temp gets below 32 again....at least that's what the guessers are saying. They DID predict the freezing shower so.......?

I'm prepping for Saturday , splurged on a couple pair of "heat" socks for mom , pretty thick fleece brushed on the inside . (No batteries)
She has more than everything she needs ..... I took many carloads of her stuff to Goodwill when she moved to the assisted living place but it still left her room packed
She told me she doesn't want anything again this year (4 so far since then). So I started buying her fuzzy socks with animals on them , she's a big fashion hit with the gang.....
These are just one color

Crab rolls yesterday , tomorrow and Christmas?? Turkey dinner with a filet mignon to boot . OK it will be cafeteria steam table stuff but the best meal they get all year there. So she will be a happy camper then. I'll just have my usual , and go over after.
Don't think I'll suffer much though. I'm getting used to it and the best part is NO (stop reading this now, you've been warned) more GIANT hemmorhoids that ate New Jersey Even the surgeon was "impressed"

Merry Christmas You Animals (nod to Home Alone Kevin !)

At least there's no lockdown THIS Christmas

The dancers were all hung over from last night's cast Christmas party. Hey , at least they showed up !

Drinking hot cup of coffee. 22° with cloudy skies and wind. Heading to 27° with sun in afternoon. Found the LED parts I was looking for. USPS delivered Sassy's meds. Tried to return meds to Amazon. Not returnable. But they gave me my money back. Got last of my shopping done for Christmas at Sam's club. I like using their Senior shopping time at 7 am on Tuesday mornings. 5 cars in parking lot. Workers seem to be very friendly at that time in morning. Or maybe they have not woke up yet.
Need to wrap last of my Christmas gifts. Mostly putting them in a gift bags.
While letting Sassy out the other morning. I saw a small opening in clouds and got a picture of the full moon.

Ann, Hershey's chocolate cake. Great way to celebrate DD birthday.

HenryH001, I did the snowbird thing for 12 years. Much warmer weather going further south. Great time of my life. If you go to Yuma. You do not need a off road vehicle. I have seen some pictures of the Wavey's in parks.

Popeye, I am hoping a little bit of the white stuff stays around for Christmas.

Gordon, that's a heck of name Llyod has given you. Chocolate chip cookies can turn me into a Cookies Monster.

RonS, safe travels for the holiday.

Orrin, good Motorhome started up. Did you take it for a ride?

Terry, hope Eleanore is continuing her recovery.

Everyone stay safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.

Good morning!!! 11 here headed to 29 with sunshine.

Eleanore, continue healing and take good care of yourself.

Son and his wife got in last night after driving straight through from Denver.
Great to have them here.

We went to our Tuesday Night Riders motorcycle group Christmas potluck last night. Good food and great to see everyone.

Drove the MH about 40 miles to the repair facility on Monday. These things are cold with just the chassis heat going.

Wish I was down in Arizona partying with you guys every night.

Good morning all!

Jeep run today, friend Bill is leading. Description is,,,,,,,, "Morgan Wash, Old Stone Cabin, and THE ROCK!" I have done this one before,,,,, cleared the rock last time on my own with out a tow,,, gonna give it another go. RonS going with me as co-driver.

Hope everyone is doing well! Christmas is close by.

Gonna miss being home for Christmas, but $1,260 is too much for airfare,,,,, more than double last year.

Got to run, pack lunch, dress for the Jeep run.

Have a great day all!

Good Morning;
Continued balmy weather here. Also some flurries. Supposed to accumulate an inch or so. Going to get some seat time.

Still dark at 8:02. Will be nice to see longer days as we pass the equinox.

New confuser is working better. Mostly operator error so ironing those out. Thanks for all of the internet information (with pictures) that are very helpful. About the time I understand it and get a handle on it there will be more changes.

Plan is to leave here on 27. Will be a predicted high of -27C.

Entering final preparations for hosting Christmas dinner.

Have a great day.

May the best of your yesterday be the worst of your today.

Political correctness run rampant.

A woman goes to the post office to buy stamps for her Christmas cards.

She says to the clerk, "May I have 50 Christmas stamps?"

The clerk says, "What denomination?"

The woman says, "God help us. Has it come to this?
Give me 6 Catholic, 12 Presbyterian, 10 Lutheran and 22 Baptists."

We plan to cross the border on the 28th and will arrive Quartzsite 5 days later. We will be with good friends in Q for a while and will likely drive to Yuma to meet up with other friends in that area.

Will try to get to meet up with as many of you as we can while we are there.

Take care and JFYI Denise problems have sort of disappeared now that she is on a potassium reduced diet.

Be good and have fun.
Stay Healthy.

Wow Moose , that's awesome .
Happy trails to you ,,and Gordon , and ,,,,uhhh I forgot who else is traveling but you too, two , three , well you get the idea...

Gordon
You can sing it loud and proud.
It's still gonna sound like print here ! Thanks for your consideration though.

Could you pile all the snow on the east end of your yahd ?
Might help deflect some of that weather north and south instead of always east !

Lloyd and Ron co-driving the red wagon??
Oh ! you installed another steering wheel to help on the rocks !!! Great idea !

Orrin
It musta been a chilling experience! I installed a couple of bus heaters in my class A at middle and back ,,,made a big difference.
Plus I could turn them on in the mountains to help keep the engine and tranny cooler on the long climbs...

RonJH
Hope you're boxing up some cold for next summer .
AND hope you don't have to burn the barn to keep warm this winter too.....
I thought you were done showing us your full moon.
Do you need an intervention ???

Henry ? We have a Henry ?
Heya Henry ! welcome to our campfire !
