No coffee this morning. 34° with with mostly cloudy skies and wind. Heading to 25° with clouds and wind. Temperatures are headed down as the day goes along. Sassy got her bath and a good brushing. I made trip to neighbors burn pile. Pushed it closer to big log. Did not scan any pictures. Annual Wellness checkup today. No other plans for the day.
I now have 4 pairs of Cardinals at my feeders. Someone must have passed the word at local park. This is the place to be.

Rail, that sure is a lot of post. Good group to post in.

Gordon. hope day of golfing went well.

Llyod. I like the screen keyboard. But do make a lot of mistakes compared to PC keyboard.

Popeye, rest up for next batch of snow.

Everyone stay safe and well.

Good Morning All.

New change to the much changed itinerary. Our niece and her spouse will be in Palm Springs for a week in February. So we will leave Quartrzsite and go there then back to Yuma for a bit then east to Dateland to help our buddy Barb with her new abode. No matter where we end up in Yuma we will be available for campfire times and cookouts. Se y'all then.

Good Morning;
So todays task is to turn a 10 lb pork roast into pulled pork. Going low and slow so will have lots of reading time. Looking for a good vinegar based sauce for pulled pork so if you have one that you will share I would appreciate it. I had one but cannot find it. Internet has a bunch that seem good so I will try one of those as a fallback.

Another nice day on the way. Mid 70's are great!

Watching the weather at home. Continued cold. Now I know why they changed to climate change from global warming. They were wrong again.

Have a wonderful day.

May the best of your yesterday be the worst of your today.

Good Evening
Looking for a sauce recipe and was unable to find what I wanted. So made up one from ideas garnered from recipes on the internet.

Result:
1 1/2 cups cider vinegar
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1 tbs sugar
1 tsp salt
1/3 tsp hot mustard.

Combine all in saucepan and simmer for 8 - 10 minutes. Let cool and enjoy. Will last about a week in the fridge. Make extra so you have some to last a week.

Good Morning

Wanted to pick up an extended warranty on our soon to be delivered snow blower. Found out it comes with a two year warranty. No extended plan available. Tuesday my neighbor went to a close by 7-11 store. Says the parking lot wasn't plowed and he fell. Incident report filled out. Then had to have their car towed for two flat tires to Dunn tire. A customer drove them home. Had to get one tire from Rochester,NY. The other tire could be patched. Lucky road hazard cover the destroyed tire. Tuesday evening DH took him to the hospital ER. Was hoping to get an xray. Nope, would have been an eight hour wait. Called my Orthopedic place. Took him right in and he had a fractured ankle. Put him in a cast and ordered a knee scooter. He decided to use a lawyer that specializes in slip and falls. Hope he heals up without problems as he is Diabetic. DH had fun shoveling the end of our concrete driveway. The plow puts the snow back in the end of the driveway. Did grocery shopping. I stayed home and kept warm. All this happened on Wednesday. Going to get colder with small amts. of snow. Take care ,Ann

Poured first cup of coffee. 15° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 20° with some sun. Annual Wellness check up went well. Should be good for another year. After yesterday high of 41° weather guessers are forecasting no days above freezing for next 14 days. Maybe a slight chance of snow next week. Going to be a good time to work on scanning photos.

Ann, hope your neighbor heals quickly.

Gordon, same question as RonS. Oh I see on previous post. Pulled Pork?

Popeye, hope you have plenty of propane. I have no warmth to send your way.

Everyone stay well and safe.

Good Morning All.

Good morning!!! -2* here, headed to 9*, sun all day.

Ann, sounds like your family and friend had quite a day. Best wishes and quick healing to your friend.

Ron, sound like a fun camping trip.

Popeye, Ron, Ann, and Terry, I don't have any warm weather to send your way. I went to the store, and they were sold out and did not expect a shipment any time soon.

Gordon, I want some of that pulled pork you're making.

Car auction went well Tuesday night. I tried to buy some cars but prices for late model used were very close to same model new if you can find one.

Two medical appoints today, close in time, but not in distance. 1st is dentist, and 2nd is a blood test. Then off to lunch with old high school buds and cards.

Keep the shiny side up.

Drinking first cup of hot coffee. 4° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 22° with lots of sun. Got last of my pile of pictures scanned yesterday. Still have a old pile of film to scan. A lot of them are from my parents collections. Not sure what I will get done today. But I am sure it will be inside.

Popeye, not sure about Gordon scroll finger. But mine got a good workout.

Orrin, hope your Dr visits went well.

Everyone stay safe and well.

Good Morning All.

Good morning!!! -9* here, headed to 19*, a veritable heat wave!

Dr. appointments went well. Got a new crown, then had a blood sample for INR. All good. Thanks for asking.

Sorry, for sending such low temps. east.

Gordon, how did that pulled pork turn out? Inquiring taste buds need to know?

Not much planned today, except to have lunch with motorcycle buds.

Keep the shiny side up.
