That's what I usually get too but it's been almost nothing this year , so far. Less sno* just means the ground is frozen deeper .

Directing a storm anywhere but around me seems possible , I'll have to experiment..

Looks like they think more wet than white but still show 4-8 of white . I'd rather have it deeper than wetter for clean up but a 1/2 " of slush alternative sounds pretty good.
I'm seeing a bright spot in the clouds on the horizon offshore and the orb is nowhere near rising. So for now .
Wow , that was quick , I'm being irradiated , solar just kicked in. (that also means this thing is moving fast)
And....just as quick it's gone an hour later.

Coffee is brewing. 27° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 33° with cloudy skies. Ended up getting about 2" of snow yesterday. I stayed in all day. Spent some time updating Mesh Wi-Fi. Adding names to the 25 item that show up on my network. Need to clear walkways today. That should be enough outdoors for today.

Good morning!! 24, headed to 28, mostly clouds.

I plan to depart for AZ on Wednesday. Forecast is for snow building from the south. mmmm will have to watch the radar. MH came home yesterday and I have the furnace running to warm things up. That mattress could be cold.

I will pack some groceries and clothes, then off we go.

Gordon, I am not bringing a sawzall, I hear that you have one.

I got about an inch less uptah camp..but it's still comin' down.
~25% was sleet pellets and a little rain mixed in once in a while.
Will do the panels tomorrow , winds still gusting 35kt.

Poured first cup of coffee. 28° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 36° with considerable cloudiness. Got as far as I could putting names on all the things hooked to my mesh network. Still 4 items that I cannot find where they are let alone what their name is. May put a little time into that today. Going to be another conserve energy day.

Popeye, well I did my best. I must have pushed it south instead of north. It passed here at night while I was still sleeping. I will try to do better with tomorrows storm. It will pass during the daytime.

Lovely day. Sun is out and day is calm.

Neighbors truck calved something on the trip down. After 3 weeks at the shop it is now being taken in today for the first mechanic inspection. If it is a transmission issue there is no date in sight for a replacement.

I will leave tomorrow morning, Wednesday the 25th. Everything packed except for computer and toiletries. I think I will head for Des Moines, IA, then south to Kansas City and make more decisions there. I want to get warm enough so I can fill the fresh water tank.

I would rather head straight south to St. Louis, but there is snow forecast for that route.

No coffee this morning. 29° with light snow this morning. Heading to 33° with snow accumulating to 6". Maybe. This will be my first chance to use tractor and snow blower this winter. Out some time into searching for couple items on network yesterday. That was it. Annual visit to Dr for physical. Fast this morning. After that I will spend rest of the recovering from not eating for 12 hours.
