Don and Dale,

I will try NOT to rub it in when it is 75 here this summer (if we ever get to summer). I have a sister in Texas and a brother in NC. They both love their winters but not particularly summers. Sis says when she steps outside she breaks out in a sweat. Went to visit her once in August and will never go there again that time of year.

Brother is the same thing. He was in Marines and got malaria while in Viet Nam. He can't take the cold. It really effected his sharp shooting when he got back if his hands were cold. Older soldier recognized the problem while Mike was shooting and could normally hit anything and couldn't after with cold hands.

I don't think most who never served can understand how many little costs our military pay every day for their service. I do with so many of our family being there. Dad could never lay flat after loosing 80% of his stomach during WWII. Each one has their stories if they are willing to share.

So, I like sunrise and sunsets. More pictures would be appreciated. Lynne

DW made a french toast casserole with brioche this morning and I'm nearly in a sugar coma.

I'm sipping coffee and reading the posts while it's 47 degrees and sunny with just a light breeze.

Halestorm in the headphones.

Now I have to decide if I'm going to work on a project or just be a bum all day. Between the sugar buzz, coffee and blazing rock I doubt being a bum will be on the agenda for long. Besides, I have some tile to finish up.

We call the two patios "The Circle". On the banks of the Colorado River. Use upper patio when it is hot and lower patio when it is cooler.

Rebuilt the upper patio last December, the lower one, built about 20 years ago, will be rebuilt next fall.

Morning all. Coffee/cocoa good this morning. This is first day Rebecca does not go to work due to her retirement. She got up at 3:30am, laid back down at 5:30, up at 7, showered. She is walking around talking to herself, and updating her list of things to do.

I am working this week on finishing up the paperwork and testing to get my CHL (concealed handgun license)

These two things may or may not be related.

Great morning to everyone frosted sugar cookie coffee is delightful today. We down here near Houston are supposed to get some freezing rain this afternoon and through the night so our lows will probably be close to the highs in some northern states....well everyone stay warm and safe..

in the above pic., we were the only ones in the cg that was,nt in an airstream,,,thats when we got hooked on the tt,s....we were on the hunt for an airstream...sold the fleetwood that we had just redone the whole interior. thats what sparked our new hobby of fixer upper,s...lol....turned out awsome...got a ton of complements at ..
but on our hunt for the airstream (which we still havent found...lol) we started falling in love with the more rarer tt,s...like the go-tag-along,s,,aristocrates, avions, spartans, etc .etc ,....

leaving to go see the doc......everyone have a great day.....
also leaving another random pic. of warmer weather thats just around the corner.. of an eveining ride along the back 40 of our property...

just throwing these random pics out there of green instead of the white stuff....lol..

lynne,,,,,you started this......lol

Greetings from Crowley, TX. It was 27degrees when I got up about 06:00 and now at 14:30 it is up to 29 degrees, will not get above freezing. The frost did not completely cover the lawn, but spoted up pretty well. Saw the lightning & listened to the thunder having my morning coffee. Take the Avion (Bap we love ours) over Wednesday to get a new TV antena installed. That is if it thaws so I can hook up and pull it over, don't want to do ice skating with truck & trailer. Hope for a warmer day tomorrow. gps
