Darn the water heater appears to have sprung a leak. Been draining water till the tank went dry. Thinking I might wait to replace till we get back to RE next year,to give all you workaholics something to do. Not sure if Mare will let me get by with that or not. Made it to Wash but not home yet.

A summah like day just to rub it in Chummy.
75* partly cloudy but plenty of ORB ! Winds on shore all day increasing to ~25 w gusts in the 30? range.

Rail
Mango smoothies are my fave since I became addicted in '82.
I stayed in Tucson that winter and drank mango smoothies while watching the locals don their down jackets as temps plunged to the 70s. One of my best winters..........

Water Heater Leak

Chuck, had a water heater tank that rusted thru in several places in a motor coach a few coaches back. Suburban. Took unit out, removed cover around tank, wire brushed tank, pressurized, found and filled all leaks with a screw and JB Weld, then fiberglassed complete tank. Figued tank would cvertainly leak in future so in effect made a new tank with fiberglass so when old tank failed I still had operable tank. Worked several years and was working when I sold coach. Just saying. Good luck.
Hope all is well when you get home.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 61° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 68° with some rain. Then cloudy. House is clean. Pick up my Aunt this morning then spend a lot of time chit chatting with her. Should a good weekend.

Hope everyone has a great day. Stay safe and healthy.

Good Morning;
Checked pump this morning. Has done its job. Water is down to inlet level. Unfortunately there is a light rain. Will go back later and plug the pump back in if required.

I will help replace the water heater if I can use the Sawzall. Should be able to put a bigger tank in with very little cutting and modification. Ill bring a new blade!!

With all of the rain we have a problem with mosquitoes. There are lots of them and very aggressive. No circling before attacking, just straight in.

Have a great motorcycle trip Lloyd. Ride safe.

Have a great day.

May the best of your today be the worst of your tomorrow.

71 today @ noon.
The orb has finally burned off some overcast and is more than just an almost bright spot. High temp predicted in the 80's my guess is fail...

I'm testing out the PSW inv charging the chromebook.
The solar gets the battery to float pretty early after it gets light even with cloud cover ...(so far) It took 5 minutes for the inverter to bump it over to charge and it's holding at 13.2v whoah , sun just came out 14.4.
The fantastic fan has been on all morning .

RonS
Good fix tip !

RonJH
Have a good visit with Auntie !?

Rainy day

Had rain most of day. Dropped the temp to 65*..Called the state park we have a reservation for in late July. Will the bathhouse be open? I don't know. Received an email that most bath houses will be open with extra cleaning times. Musy wear a mask when off site. Then I spent 45minutes on hold making a State Park camping reservation for 2021. Some parks will open Jun1 and some two weeks later. Hoping to get the church mowed as the grass is long with all the rain we have had.

And it runs Linux, not Windows.

Poured first cup of coffee. 50° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 66° with sun and clouds mix. As usual have a good time with my Aunt. To get away from current condition went to work on the window sills in back porch. Got that completed and sealed. Put up trim around window frames today. Need to cut grass also.

Tim, sorry to hear what's going on in the Twin Cities. Not a good thing no matter how you look at it.

Lloyd, hope the launch goes off without a hitch. Have a safe trip.

Popeye, send some of that warmth back west.

Gordon, I got a Bosch what I call a mini 12 volt Sawzall. Gets in those tight spots to make room for the full size saw.

Ann, sending some sun your way.

HJL, lots of wet. Thank Gordon.

Everyone be safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.

62* ,cloud cover pretty dense , orb location not visible.
Shower sometime overnight and more possible before it finally clears off...Seas 1 foot or less in 10 to 15 S by SW winds.
The predicted high of 79* is probably a dream , like yesterday.

RonJH
It's only a teaser , back to 60s and 70s ? tomorrow.
Summah in Maine don't usually get heah till the 4th of July Chummy , OHHHHHH AYYYYYYYuh. Do you want to leave your order in for delivery then ?

RonS
Yup yup ,we knew that. As soon as you got the new one!!

Gordon
'Bout time you dried out up there. Now go out and FIND THAT FAUCET ! It it needs to be turned down a couple of notches !

Tim
Hope the MH move wasn't needed
Sad situation indeed.
Those guys need to keep their sticks on the ice IMO.
The opposing team doesn't seem to be too impressed with it anymore.
Refs bought off ?
No time outs in that game...:nonono
May be beyond help..

Musk is one of those engineers that just keep going.
Reminds me of Von Braun....
Glad he's on our side.

Good morning!!

72* here, partly sunny at the moment, more T storms in the forecast, Headed for 83*.

Grand daughtes graduation yesterday was nice, but very different thanks Covid. Large crowd stood on a long line, next to each other,,,,,, then they ushered us to grandstand seats (on the football field) in 2's, 8' apart seating. Students on the field sitting 6' apart.

Then just at the start, a T storm came. We were asked to evacuate to our cars and standby. Big, line, next to each other getting out!!! So much for social distancing.

We resumed a hour later, seat yourself, keep your own social distancing.

Anyway, Haley is a graduate now, 4 year degree in health sciences. Very proud. More school to come, perhaps a PA or RN coming ahead.

Tim, perhaps you and Joe should be at the farm as well. Sorry to see what is happening to your beautiful city.

Thanks for all the well wishes on the motorcycle trip, I leave on the 8th early in the am.

Those are some very wet farm pictures. Things are the same here. Have 3 fence paint jobs waiting, however it is way to wet to even think about it.

Have a great day all!
