Boy Ron I hope that clutch gets better but I've installed alot of clutches and none needed break-in, jumpy clutches usually mean oil on the face or uneven spring pressure, flywheel warped or surfaced wrong, yup I wouldn't be going back to that shop.

Happy Thanksgiving Y'all.

Sorry we can't be there to celebrate with you this time round.

I have installed clutches too and never had to break in. And none of them were grabby. I have asked owner of shop what clutch was installed but have not heard back yet. Flywheel installed was new. My fault because I had this shop do the transmission rebuild and clutch right before needing to leave for Yuma. If I had done this months ago I could have fixed before leaving on trip.

Ron,

Had a new clutch put in my Suzuki Grande Vitara and it was grabby when it can out of the shop. Turned out to be the hydraulic clutch not working properly. The shop took it back and made a few adjustments and it proved to be proper again. BTW all my mechanical abilities are listed as "professional watcher."

For something different , something that made me laugh.

Missing front teeth and still wanting to eat corn on the cob .....
...But how'd she do ??????

It is sno*ing today so had to put the hotheads in the lineup to melt it , and extra sweepers to clear away the water.
Eliminating the need to plow or shovel !!!!
Hmmmmmmm Gotta try to patent that idea...........

Rail
It's interesting to see the grouper displayed right beneath some baitfish. Do you think that's just by chance ?
Good test on the Hep !
Of course the Doc would blame what they can't figure out on the oil.

Gordon
SLUSH ? Oh boy , my favorite !
It was 26* with light sno* here @ 10am
(correction 10:15 slee*!)
(2nd correction 10:26 fre*zing rain)
( 3rd correction 10:51, just going with "crust" now ! arrrrrrrrrrr)

Now 30* and CRUNCHY @8pm

I don't have one a them tractor thingies and my elbows are a couple of shivery timbers today so shoveling is out........
(If I wanted to see this much white I'd just go watch old Mr. Clean commercials !)
My plan is to go stand outside and just be as mad as I can be ......
Maybe I can melt it all if I'm mad enough ?
(What if we all went outside and got mad at the same time ?
Then it would be summer again !!!)
Hey , it worked for today's show !
I got the idea from Woodstock I guess.
I was too young to actually go but I don't think it worked for them....,,, maybe it was the Waveites????

Do you think that voice activated thing would work on my shovel ?????

Oh , I figured out why spelling certain things backwards isn't working for us !
Mother nature has been making mirrors for millions of years with the reflecting pools of lakes and ponds ...
Back to plan *

RonS
That all sounds too cold , Thanksgiving should be in October !
Wishing you bare dry roads and no road gators !

It seems mechanics are getting sloppy everywhere these days !

Hope that clutch smooths out. Sounds like CLACer project #1.
How was the tranny on the way home?

RonJH
Popcorn ? OK !
So,,,,tell us about putting grease on your plow blade?
I put WD40 on my shovel , is it something like that ?
Thinking it also might be so it slides over the lawn better on those first time scrapes of the year....

Curtis
Not the thrill ride you expected but it sounds like you managed to find a way with those gators to make it more fun !

Harv
Just the picture was burning my eyes !

moose
That lady in the comic didn't get her wish did she ?

Good Evening;
I had good intentions of penning something this morning but got sidetracked.

About an inch of "winter whiteness" overnight. Was quite light and did not take long to push into piles. Temperatures were just below freezing so I used my Crocs. Then replaced a couple bulbs in a fluorescent fixture.

Out for a drive to drip off a birthday present. Will have to wash the car cause the roads were really sloppy.

The replacement window took them about 1/2 hour to replace. Now the fogginess is gone and the view is clear.

Safe travel Ron.

Wow Popeye. I have become ambidextrous on the mouse. Left or right makes no difference. One of the productions is like watching the full version of War and Peace.

Covid has hit the fan here. There is an almost lockdown. Some businesses are still able to open but visiting family has been stopped. This is supposed to be for the next 3 weeks. We have lots of food, the ability to cook it and unfortunately if you cook it you must eat it.

Saw some pictures of Thanksgiving preparation. Happy Thanksgiving to all of our American RV family. Have a great day and enjoy yourselves. We will be with you in spirit.

Have a great day.

May the best of your today be the worst of your tomorrow.

Poured first cup of coffee. 46° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 46° with cloudy skies. At least no snow or rain for today. Got invited to neighbors house for a pre Thanksgiving dinner. All 4 of sitting at our own side of table. First meal away from my house in months. I am ready to spend the day alone at my home. Lots of calls to make today.

Moose, no snow in picture.

Gordon, shoveling snow in Crocs.

Popeye, need to go something with the Angry members. Get them to make more POPCORN.

RonS, safe travels.

Everyone stay healthy and safe.

Good Morning All.

33* more rain.
Well , we made it to Turkey day !
I forgot to pick up a rotisserie chicken before all the stores closed last night...soooooooooooooooo

I'll be choosing to celebrate with the gourmet tuna and a black olive and onion side.,,,I'm thinking traditional mayo instead of the balsamic this year......using a black and white integrated pepper reduction of course .

Tomorrow ,,,,no leftovers !

RonJH
Hotheads on popcorn detail ! I'll put them in line directly before the popcorn wagon....

Gordon
CROCs ???
Somebody take his temperature !!!!!!

Hope you all have a good day and don't eat too much .
