How many 1982 Champion Transtar owners out there?

Just interested to know how many Transtars are out still there?

I have a 1980 Transtar! Any advise on where to find parts? Specifically looking for a bumper cover.

Dodge or Chevy chassis? Front or rear? Front bumpers will be the same as a van of the same chassis, the rears will be more difficult to find, may have to roam a junkyard and find one from a pickup that might fit.

Dodge. It’s like finding a needle in a haystack! I’m not sure where to look. I’m not even sure what vehicles may have compatible parts. I’ve contacted a few places to have one fabricated but am not having much luck. One place in Florida can help me - but I’m in Pittsburgh! This newbie would appreciate any advise! In addition to the bumper cover, I also lost one of the original hubcaps. I’ve only driven it 400 miles!

Mine has 16.5 wheels, it depends if yours has too. I don't know where you would find covers. Mine are not like yours at all. Have you tried eBay? Happy hunting.

Those are some pretty sweet wheel covers, I would definitely keep them if you can find the missing one. Good luck, eBay and junkyards man, that’s your best bet.
As for the bumper, I would scavenge a junkyard for any trucks or cargo vans with split bumpers. Lots of times the covers get bent to heck going over bumps cause the back end sticks out so far. Basically you’re going to have to find something close to the right one then make it work.
