Hydraulic pump seal leaking.

It's true, 2 steps forward & 3 back! Replaced my belts right after we got Miss Kitty home because the hydraulic pump belts were stretched & squealing due to a small oil leak on the hydraulic pump. Fired it up today & let her run a little bit, and a little while later while hunting an air leak I discovered she had thrown one of those brand new belts off, and the seal leak is much worse! Anyone ever replaced a shaft seal on one of these older rigs?

I have a 96 P30 and the hydro boost was leaking. What a job changing that ended up changing the master break also. They are attached so I figured might as well change them both. Keep plugging away, it never ends, always something.

That's what I'm doing, just plugging away. I've always loved working on stuff like this, but Miss Kitty is whipping me! I've been working over a month trying to get her ready for a short run to Talladega for my son to stay in for race weekend (He works on the track cleanup crew), and I don't seem to be gaining any ground. Got the belt issue solved, and now the cotton-pickin' steps won't retract! AARRRGGGGGHHHH!!!!
