Installing new power inverter?

Good afternoon everyone, in the few trips I have taken with our Pace Arrow I have found I want/need outlets that are live without the generator running. The inverter and charging setup does not currently allow for this so I found a nice inverter and charger setup from a semi tractor. It was used as his "shore power" and allowed him to not idle while parked. I think it should work just fine for what I need. If you have any suggestions or have done something like this to your old RV please let me know, my kids would love to have the TV working while driving on our next trip.

Does your PA have DC power ports? We had a 2002 PA that had three or four across the coach. Plugged small Tripplite inverters into them to power various devices.

Do you understand the difference in a Convertor/ Charger and a Inverter?
There is also a Inverter/Charger and just an Inverter. Do a little research before you dive in so you know exactly what you need.
In your first picture That is a convertor charger,it converts 120 volts to 12volts DC and also has a built in battery charger to keep batteries up while plugged in or running the generator. The grey box is your transfer switch which automatically switches from shore power to generator.
If you need 120volt you will need a inverter. Which I think is what you have in the 3rd picture. Depending on the load you intend to put on it might determine if you need to add more batteries and if you alternator on the coach engine is large enough to handle the charging demand placed on it. Just something to consider.
