Is a 1991 Rexall Class a good idea?

Been RV’ing for decades in all types of rigs. A friend is considering buying a 1991 Rexall Class A from basically a know-nothing seller. I have no experience with the Rexall brand — are they considered a good brand or better-stay-away? Thanks.

I had a 32' tag axel 92 Airex by Rexall on a F53 Chassis. It was well made. The 460 Ford was thirsty. It was a long time ago, don't recall much.

Its an old coach, some Ford parts are no longer available. I would guess no Rexall parts are.

I have a '93 Newmar on the F53 chassis and would have no issue with a similar Rexall. Folks with Rexalls seem to like them. That said, both are pretty elderly and you kind of need to be a jack of all trades type handyman to keep such going. Mechanical breakdowns on the road RUIN even little vacations. Low mileage is great but age is still very much a factor with about every part of a camper.

Had a 95 Rexair. Ford Chassis. It was a very well built coach, fiberglass roof, steel frame, but there are parts on it that are simply not available. Spent years looking for a replacement headlight - never found one. Sold it with a cracked headlight.
