I have a 1993 Bounder with the same steps as yours. It can be a bit confusing finding the proper replacement parts. Some dealers will have the correct part # but show an incorrect image which adds to the confusion. The number series of the control unit is what dates the steps. Our old steps are pre/IMGL (Integrated Motor Gearbox Linkage)
Your motor assembly will have a large cast zinc alloy gear which is driven by the pinion gear of the motor. If there is any damage to this gear it can be rotated 180 degrees to provide an area of previously unused teeth, for only half of this gear is used to extend the steps. The gear in my unit was in perfect condition.
The control linkage on mine which this gear drives had small cracks showing, so a replacement linkage was ordered. This new part is carried in the motorhome in case the old one finally breaks. While waiting for the new linkage I cleaned up and lubed the old motor gear box assembly and since it was working so well I left it alone. The linkage is easy to replace.
Here is a link for the replacement linkage used on your steps. I bought mine at PDX RV LLC for $60.42 and that included shipping.

The motor is the same as is used for automobile power windows. Take it to an auto parts store and they can find a correct match for yours. Save the pinion gear from your old motor.
The control unit on mine is working so have not shopped for one but I believe the link below takes you to the proper replacement for our steps. Read the note under additional information for more enlightenment.

Regular cleaning and lubrication of the linkages of the steps themselves is the key to a long life for this accessory.
