Leveler solenoid problem
I don't see a name on the unit, 1987 HR, Imperial. Suddenly when I engage the levelers I hear a buzz but not engagement of the pump. My son engaged the levelers while I was beneath the motor. I think the solenoid is not working. Will be a pain to get to it without raising the RV or driving over a work hole.
Problem is I don't know where to order the solenoid. I have the part # as P-3410 but no name.
Help?

Could you post a picture of the leveler control pad or what you can see of the motor , maybe a member can identify the manufacturer for you.

Can I down load it from my phone? My computer does not recognize my phone so I can not copy to it.

Try PPL motorhomes of Texas. They also sell parts or call the manufacturer of your RV and ask them for some help. They may surprise you.

I am waiting to hear back from them, will call soon.
The four control handles on the floor next to the driver seat has HWH Corporation, with a patent #.
I replaced the solenoid, still rattles if I short a large hot wire to a small wire. If I bypass the solenoid entirely with a pair of pliers the sound I heard sounds like a transformer running so I think the motor is froze up.

No one has records that go back that far! Amazing, just 1987 and the unit looks very good.
Best they (Holiday Rambler) could determine is the unit is a HWH.
No parts available so I plan to drain the oil tank, pull it off exposing the pump and I guess the motor is behind that.
Who knows what I may find, plugged up filter ?
If the motor is burned up I can only have it rebuilt, odds of finding one is slim to none.
Leaving for the week, can work on it in another two weeks maybe. Give you all an update then.

I found a couple of motors, held off to see if I could repair mine. Today I started to remove it, accidentally shorted the two wires on the solenoid and the motor turned !
I had also burned a 5 amp fuse some time along the way and found that too.
So know she is working again!
