We'll be in Quartzite somewhere around lunch time tomorrow. And according to my Weather Channel app tomorrow will be the worst day of the next fifteen, windy and cool. Then it gets warmer next week.
We're meeting some of the Good Morning regulars tomorrow and then more of them next week. You should jump in.

Where and when, Harv? I'd love to meet y'all, especially Jane! After all we've seen her innards. How much more intimate can we be?
We're in La Posa South LTVA.

okmunky, I think Harv is headed for here, Rice Ranch directly across 95 from the event. We are there at the moment,,,,, well in the area as we walkabout.

Thanks, Lloyd! I'll send you and Harv my cell number in a PM. One of you can call me with an exact location when you have one. I'll be in Q running errands mid day.

Jane has been doing wonderful. She hasn't given us a moment's pause, well, unless you consider waking up this morning to no juice in the coach of the 12 volt variety. I hit the start button on the diesel and immediately the generator was able to start and we were back in business. We left the furnace on over night and the house battery went low, my mistake.
The photos were taken as we were pulling out of Camp Verde. The old man with the dogs is my dad and our dog Dozer and his dog Ginger.
Some might find the walk gate interesting. What had happened is in 1997 I built the drive gate with materials on hand and we ended up with enough room for a walk gate. The materials on hand for the walk gate were too short to make a simple gate so we went artistic, 5/8" solid bar stock for the curious. And then the gate was too short and I was almost out of bar stock. Neighbor suggested I do a Stetson for the top. "How would I do that?" I asked him.
"Think of a figure 8 laying down" was his reply.

Harvey,
Love the gate, you do great things and are being too modest about your skills.

Frank, modesty has never been one of my faults. . The gate was a collaboration, it was just I got the credit because I operated the hot glue gun.

Hi Harv!
You know what they say, great minds think a like!!!
South Carolina's state symbol (on the flag and the seal etc.) is the Palmento Tree and the Cresent moon. In 2009 I built this gate and posts to the entrance of our retirement home.
I have given some thought to starting a side business building custom art work gates,,,,,,,,, for country places. We have had lots of inquiries about ours.

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Jane today. She's a fine ol' gal. Oh and I met Harvey, Glenda, Harvey's dad and the pups, too. I highly recommend this fun activity!
Safe travels, y'all!

I have to admire Harvey's work. I have been fiends with him since I first met him on the internet in 2002. Then got to meet him and Glenda in person in 2005. Been a ongoing friendship ever since.
To see what he is up too. Do a search on Google for Wroughtnharv.

I had to ask Harvey what was so rotten about him that he uses Wroughtnharv as his user name. He explained that the wrought part is for the wrought iron work he does. Well, DUH! Now it makes since. There's nothing rotten about Harvey or Glenda. They are just 2 good ol' down home folks. Just like most Texans. Did I mention that I was born and raised in Texas?
