Just goes to show you, it's dangerous to work on lawn equipment wearing a thong! So, exactly how HAVE you been wearing thongs?!? Does your wife know? And where do you wear the 2nd one? Asking for a friend . . .

Thongs: for feet because you have a pair
Thong: for seat because you have just one

You can’t sneak anything past the Rons! Frank too!
We’ve entered #74 of 100+ and for about 8 months I can’t tease the best thing about her being a cougar. She’s back to being just the older woman in my life again.
We have been working on the framework inside and attempting to keep up the outside. Maisie and the cats keep it interesting for sure. Last night was her first fireworks event and she handled it well. She barked but then that’s part and parcel of her genetic framework. There’ll be more tonight, barking and fireworks.
Triple digits for the foreseeable future. Ron S is usually five plus degrees warmer than we are. Virtual A/C wishes are appropriate and appreciated I’m sure.

Yesterday morning while on the eight foot step ladder working on top plate of nine foot wall I got dizzy again. I don't bounce like I used to do. So I went to HF and picked up their 900 lb rated small scaffold. it's the only thing that will fit in between the door ways etc.
The well is working great. Day before yesterday I noticed a water puddle by the frost free well faucet. Nothing that a deep hole and replaced nipple didn't fix. The way the sprinkler is working now suggests that this has been an issue for awhile. Factory nipple had worn through the threads and it had a leak that finally worked it's way to the surface.
Be kind.

Be careful on that scaffold. Nothing to grab onto like a 8’ step ladder.
Good to hear that water pump is working good.

Isn’t it amazing how all these little issues, like dripping faucets, conspire to slow down progress on your projects? Seems like I am forever getting distracted. And then there are dumb things like making meals and doing laundry that want to get in the way.
I’ve quit predicting when something will be done. Just thinking or saying, "I should have this wrapped up by …. " is like waving a red cape in front of a bull.
Be careful Harvey!

In June we hit triple digits locally for the first time since August 2019. Since then we’ve hit the big numbers more often than not. Yesterday and today in the nineties with pop up showers around us then tomorrow it’s back to the hot days.
Glenda picked up this handy dandy temp/humidity thingy and I haven’t decided if ignorance is bliss yet, leaning that direction right now. It has been extremely uncomfortable for sure. And we’ve worked hard to keep the well working because, well, we have plants, lots of plants. We’ve abandoned the grass for the most part, it will survive. And we’re concentrating on the plants and trees.
