Neat!. We still see these from time to time. Way back when, our first RV trip was in a rented "Beetle Brow", 17 ft class A Winnebago. It had single rear wheels, and was built on a Ford pickup truck chassis (!). Stability at 70 MPH (we didn't know any better) was interesting when the 18 wheeler trucks blew by...
And, we slept 6 adults in the thing.

Pre 1978? I believe they changed the front above the windshield in '78.
Our first MH was a 79 Winnebago Brave with Dodge 440 and about 28 ft long. Bunk beds for the kids. The rear heater off the engine coolant was great.

Neat looking Brave. Long ago our next door neighbor had one. Small enough to keep it parked right in the driveway.
