Yes! I really don’t want to use poison , both for the collateral damage and also for what suffering it might bring to the mice. If I have to kill them, I want it to be as quick and painless as possible. I can deal with dead or dying mice if need be.

Put as many traps outside around your rig. It's best to get them before they get inside.

Also clean your rig inside really good with a strong smelling cleaner like Pinesol. They are attracted to food, even if it's just a few crumbs.
