An RV shouldn't be shorter than your pick up truck. But I like it. The truck is 22' long.

Welcome to the small club.

I have one as well.

You can see my progress pics on instagram at @hotrodrv

I'm not totally sure because there is hardly any info online about these but I believe our model is a Starcraft Starliner.

I think the Starcruiser was the next one that they made. The same one that was in the Spaceballs movie.

Again, I'm not sure but I've been calling my a strarliner.

Keep us posted on your progress. Mine is getting new water tanks installed and a bunch of other stuff at the moment.

Do you have any history on yours? where its located etc.

I've been trying to track how many are left out there.

Hey 70Starcraft
my 1970 hand typed manual says its actually a Starcraft Starcruiser. The title only says Starcraft. The only place that says its a Starcruiser is the manual and the original Hand written Spec sheet that came with it. It does measure 19' bumper to bumper, but the body measures only 17'. The title actually has a spot that says 17. Doesn't say feet or anything, just 17. I am guessing it means 17ft. I also have the complete history on my Starcraft down to the oil changes, tire changes, maintenance checks, belt replacements, and one interesting engine change.
My Starcruiser Serial No. is Z000138. I'm curious myself being its a low number. But does that mean between the trailer making and RV making I have number 138 because we all know they didn't make 138 of these things. I would love to know what the Z means with the 000138. Its also a 1 owner and pole barn kept.

Heres a few shots of the cooking area.
I'm trying to keep my RV as authentic as possible. There is actually carpet over carpet and its gotta go.

Refrigerator works Fantastic. Stove works Fantastic. I can get a pilot light going on the Furnace but it won't make heat. I hope I can figure it out. I do have the Owners Manual for the Furnace, I just haven't looked at it yet.

I'm missing the paneling behind the stove. You can see my cooking light dangling. It has two magnified eyeballs and one long regular light. What ever was removed and thrown away must have held it in place. The owners wife wanted a microwave back there so they tore what ever was there out. If anyone has a photo of what that area looked like, that would be freekin' awesome.

In the refrigerator door on the bottom shelf, does anyone know what those flexible fingers are for? It doesn't say in the manual.

And as stated in the Owners manual. You will see a switch next to the outlet next to the oven, it has a red light for when its on. That switch turns on the water pump to pump up water pressure. I love how the manual says if you need pressure, just hit the switch then shut off when adequate pressure is achieved. Its a piston power water pump and it works. Or maybe its a diaphragm, don't know yet. Either way, Its pretty cool

Your interior is emaculate! That is so cool. I know a guy in Utah who just sold his to another guy in Santa Clarita, Ca.

His interior was really nice but I think yours is even nicer.

Mine was gutted when I got it and I've been building out the interior.

I've had a lot of cool vehicles but this one hands down gets the most attention.

You have a great survivor there.

That means there are 7-8 still out there. Pretty good for only 12 made.

I was just offered a really nice freshly built hot rod as a trade. The guy is selling it for $35,000. I turned it down!

Old furnice

I have always read not to use an old furnice as the thing could throw off carbon monoxide. Parts could be rusted out.

My furnace looks like its only 30 days old on the inside. Otherwise I would probably change it out and retrofit the original cover back on so it looked Original from the interior.
