I ripped out the rest of that nasty old particle board in there and you can see one of the gas tanks sitting there. Luckily I was able to do this in a big rectangle, so I plan on getting a good piece of plywood to go there as the new sub floor and I'll be good to go! Most of the original sub floor is in good shape luckily. But for whatever reason an owner before screwed in a bunch of press board right on top of it and put the grey carpet over that. So the floors felt extremely solid, but it made the lower cabinet doors and bathroom door almost impossible to open since by doing that the floor was raised about an inch. Luckily I've pulled all if that out too though, because it was pretty moldy.Click image for larger version

That just brought back memories of ripping out the entire interior of my coach. Lots of neglect and weird fixes. Water damage is no joke!!! The spray foam is great! I didn't realize coach builders were doing that back then.

Yep! This project has really shown me the severity of water damage. I never even imagined it could be so bad just from janky roof work. I certainly do love the spray foam though! Makes things a lot easier since it's all still good.

I am just hoping that when I peel the old roof coating off my 1985 Travelcraft that I don't find similar half-baked "fixes".
