Ok, this is my first time posting pics, after much experimenting on the testing board, I am not sure if these will be easy to see or if I am even doing this right!! Anyways, these are some pics of the floor repair that my hubby and his dad did today. Partway there, and lots to go! Never mind the ceiling repair!! I guess you can check out the gallery under the name Jefener. I will be putting up pics of what I have done to the ceiling as well (which is mostly destruction so far!) Jen (John's better half)

Update on the repairs, we have been lazy and haven't done too much yet on this floor since these pics were taken, except for comparison shopping for supplies. (Sorry my pics are so small, I should have tried to make em' bigger!!) Anyways, my brother has a new job as a warehouse foreman for a building supply place and he is getting me a couple big boxes of discontinued laminate flooring for next to nothing!!! So, even though my unit is "vintage", we are probably going to put laminate in there!! We only plan to keep this one for a couple more years, do you think this type of flooring would turn off buyers? We are gonna put throw rugs over top for warmth and protection as well.

Hi Jen and John. Kinda hard to tell much by those small pics but it looks like ya'll are hard at it. Beck and I covered our original vinyl flooring with 1'square peel and stick vinyl tiles for a fresh new look. I find the 1' squares are much easier to work with than sheet vinyl especially around a couple of those wierd corners. Laminate ? I don't know if I've seen any in TT's. We had some put in our computer room here at home and I'm not sold on it. This floating floor system I don't think much of. Maybe your install will be better than ours.
