Hammer, I have to agree with you, there is so much info nowadays out there that you can find out how to do most anything, will it come out perfect? maybe, maybe not, like the saying goes "just do it"

leaks

well had a bad rain storm here and had two leaks, one on the left side of the main window, seems like it came through the right side or left side looking in, small but got part of the new wallpaper, no big deal, doesn't look discolored, I think I can fix it and it will be fine, and the other one was the antenna, not the ceiling, just through the mechanism, seems the oring leaked, took it apart and cleaned it, put silicone spray on everything, but it has never been taken apart before and the 1" nut was galled, got it off, but need a new one, does anyone know where to get parts for the older antennas, like the nut and the oring, I know I can probably find the oring around, but the nut has the brass sleeve-bearing, any suggestions, found one manual for it on line, are they all the same, mine is a 1986
thanks, Hammer

Try Arizona RV Salvage for the nut. I do need to replace my antenna and if I can find what I want and afford it I may have the nut. I'll try to do some research on the antenna I want later today.

transfer switch question,

did a search on transfer switches here didn't come up with my answer, mine dies not have one, is there a place you can buy a small compact one somewhere, or did you just make your own, and do they make a
converter -charger unit with a converter combo with a output for 110 power to run a say a laptop or phone, I would like it all in one bag if they made it,, just a thought

was sort of looking for a converter/charger and transfer switch all one unit, mine I have to plug the cord into the receptacle for the generator, was thinking if I had a transfer switch I could skip a step, that way the generator is always in line when I needed to use it,,,, was just a thought, I can make one, but would be nice to have it all in one unit, oh well,
