David got the new air springs installed today!! The difference in how it sits is amazing! We had previously installed a 2000Lb rated coil spring but it really didn't do a thing. With 80LBs air in the airbags the RV is sitting up much higher and is now level front-to-back. It did take him 2 days (but he said it's not a difficult job, drilling thru 2 layers of metal - one being a really hard bracket - was the most time consuming) and he did break an extremely fragile brake line (better here in the driveway than out on the road) which we will get replacements for both sides (from Advance Auto, they have them). We move the RV over to the State Park on Wednesday (it was packed this weekend so we couldn't move over on Sunday like we planned). I'll post on how the new springs handle the lousey road thru the park. Now I need to install the "marked-down-price" $50 back-up camera I just bought from Wal-Mart . After Easter we have to head down to FL for a week or so (work related).

Drove the Class C down here to Panama City Beach. Ran the back roads (designated "primary" & "secondary" on the atlas) from Cordele GA down to Marianna FL when we picked up I-10. The difference was AMAZING! I could do 55 - 65 MPH with no problem. Before, the suspension was so bad, I could do 45 MPH max (that was down I-75 thru Atlanta... luckily traffic was so slow, I was running as fast as everyone else... no more Atlanta traffic for us... We'll run US441, it is shorter and saves us an hour).
