Nuby, introduction

Hello, we are Charles and Betty Hamilton, married for 64 years and live in Cabot, AR. We are the new owners of a 1995 Newmar, London Air, MM-2242, 40 ft diesel pusher with a few problems that we are in the process of rectifying.

Congrats on the new rig. I may be able to help you. I think you are saying you have a Spartan Mountain Master chassis, not sure what the "2242" is. Newmar model numbers usually start with a 40 (Mine is 4080). You can see a spec sticker inside a kitchen cabinet on the outside coach wall. Also just behind the driver seat on the wall.

Thanks to everybody for the kind words. The 95 London Air, as I mentioned, has a few problems. First is the LR slide-out, the transtorque was frozen, could not remove, went through 2 mechanics, no joy, and my sit. now, the last mechanic cut the shaft going into the ts nut, still could not get nut loose, removed the short shaft, now I need a 3/4 inch TS nut, 1 inch nuts are available but I can not fine a 3/4 inch TS nut. Can anybody tell me where I can find one?

Can you post a pic . What kind of threads. McMaster Carr has all kind of fasteners and drive line components.
