Red face Oh crap, I think I am a Vintage RV owner?!?!

I am excited and scared out of my mind. I am hoping my years of retail and being "thrown to the wolves" serves me well in this new endeavor!!! Definitely not for the faint of heart!! Now, to secure proper storage and a good mechanic (grease monkey friend!) to give it a thorough once over!! So starts my journey!!!

lol, i forgot to say what it is?! 1976 Chevy Tioga, 350sb, Turbo H (TH350), on a G30 cutaway, new rubber roof, valve cover gaskets, hoses, etc and tires 2019. Mostly original, the oven doesn't look like it has had one day of use, may have used one burner to cook... winterized and stored indoors every year, regular maintenance kept, even has all the original paper work for it!!

Do yourself a favor. Carefully and thoroughly inspect that front top window.
Class C's with that window arrangement have had issues with leaking and I would be concerned because of the age of your new toy.
That window caulking or gasket may have dried out or dried up---and then?? Leaks!!!

At ArtsyRVing,
Nice find! That 1976 is a time capsule!
Even the dog house faux leather cover is original.
Amazing find. Enjoy.

Thank you, i did take a good look, everything is dry on the inside and well maintained. I do plan on getting up close and personal with that window when i get it home and anything questionable and it will be scraped and resealed (all the other rvs i looked at did have that problem with the leaky front... i don't want to risk this baby - she is a survivor - the leather is all pliable, soft, no cracks... i am amazed.. and i paid under 4k!!

yes, and it is all soft and pliable. No cracks in the dash or anywhere. The covering on the cab over cushion is original (you can see a glimpse of it on the top of the cab picture), the paneling in the bathroom is original mirrored marble look...lol. the sinks are all stainless, the shower is sound, as is the toilet and the floor back there (i kinda like that rear bathroom area, makes the rest feel open. I think i am going to set up my table and material storage on the passenger side, there are only lines under that fold down, the electric is under the bench on the drivers side. Looks like the window treatments, curtain and benches were redone, the floor had vinyl laid, but the original shag is still up front...lol. I am tempted to go with an Austin Powers type theme for her

Looks really cool! Check out some videos by "The Endless Adventure" on You Tube. It's a young couple that refurbished a vintage class C that looks pretty similar. They had to gut the whole thing, but it's a neat series of videos.

I have been doing a lot of research and i do believe i did see their first video or two... i will have to go back and check them all out... my other half wants me to put Shagalicious across the front where is says Tioga *eye roll* lol. Unfortunately i can only find affordable covered storage (not indoor), but it is close by and i can go and run it every week or two and work on it. I am hoping if i tarp it, window sun shade, wheel cover and maybe wood under the wheels? that may suffice for this year? any tips on that would be great (it is already winterized).

If you seal window don't use silicone period hopefully previous owner didn't . Proflex clear or Lexel . You can mask to make less than professional caulking job look better.
Check and clean under drawers false/removable cabinet floors stove cook top for mouse nests and droppings. Mouse smell attract more mice. Set some traps.
LP appliances also attract spiders blowing out burner tubes is yearly maintenance .I have read cattle fly repellant ear tags or flea collars can help keep spider and wasps away.
