P30/P32 Wheel Studs for Aluminum Wheels

Hello All. Looking to get a set of four aluminum wheels for our December 1995 built Chevrolet P30 rear disk brake RV. Like the ones used on the Class-A Airstream RV.

From what I can gather, for our 1995 RV the stock (dual steel rear wheels) are Dorman 610281. I am aware that we will need to get and install longer studs to compensate for the thicker aluminum wheel.

I am also aware that the Airstream 345, on a P30 chassis used aluminum wheels. Would anyone know what wheels studs Airstream used?

Also thought about ordering a Workhorse P32 rear wheel stud for $27, knocking out one of our studs, measuring both and hoping for a match. Hoping to avoid doing all that work extra work, if I can avoid it.

If anyone knows, let me know.

$27 for a wheel stud???

Add the difference between the thickness of the aluminum wheel and the thickness of the steel wheel to the length of the current stud.

Check what style of lug nuts should be used with the wheels you purchase, you might be able to get studs that are slightly longer.

You also need wheel guards between the aluminum and steel wheels on the rear and aluminum wheels and steel hubs on the front.
