Hi,
I am new to RVing, Bought a 1988 PaceArrow 33' with 43,00 miles, in excellent inside condition, and need to know where the Brake fluid Reservoir is located. There is a small black reservoir inside the hood, on the driver side, on the wooden board with a deep-stick in it. Could it be it?
Will appreciate having a response to make sure I am not filling it with the wrong FLUID.

Should be able to trace the line(s) from there to the master cylinder to confirm.

You could also smell what is in the reservoir. Brake fluid smells much different than any other under-hood fluid.

under the steering column below the floor look behind driver front tire

Check along the frame around the front drivers wheel tucked behind a metal splash shield. You may have to remove the wheel and splash shield to access the master cylinder.

P30 Chevy 88 also looking to find HR 1 brake relay valve.

I've only seen brake relay valves on air brake trailers. What does it do?

It distributes brake fluid from master cylinder to wheels calipers and emergncy brake I think. Not an Expert

OK, the metering or proportioning valve. If you have 4 wheel disc brakes you won't have one. If you have rear drum brakes look on the front of the heavy curved cross member at the front of the engine, it might be easier to see from below. Worst case follow the brake lines from the master cylinder or a caliper.
