Picked up a set of 16" rims

Hi All,

I was able to pick up a full set of 16" dually rims (Craigs List) for my 1977 Ford Brougham to replace the obsolete 16.5s. Now it's time to shop for tires.

Any size recommendations? It's a 22' Ford chassis. Should the fronts be a different tire size? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Mike

Before you buy tires, get it weighed.
You will probably want load range D, but you might need E for one end or the other. It also might be that D&E are the same price.
And NO, stay with one tire size. That way you can carry a spare and rotate tires even if the LRE are too heavy for one end.
