Way to get it going again. I love that classic look, cool boat too!

This thread is a perfect example of what we are lacking today.
By that I mean the ability to repair new motor homes.
I spend a lot of time on this thread very nostalgic.

1987 Vogue lll 35' Crown Bus
I have recently assumed responsibility and tender loving care for my Aunt and Uncle's 1987 Vogue lll 35'. She's in exciting shape for an old girl and has kept her figure quite nicely. 44k miles, 8.2L V8 turbocharged side radiated Detroit Diesel with an Allison 4 speed auto in a Crown Bus chassis with air ride and brakes. And a spotless (and why yes timeless) burgundy and mauve interior with corian, hardwood, and cherry cabinets. I have diaries/log books for every tank of gas, oil change, lubrication, repair, parts purchase, and trip she's ever seen. Hasn't seen much time out in the sun the last few years. Intend to keep all 100% original going forward.
Posting her here for other Vogue owners/restorers reference.

Thumbs up on the Vogue...
We took our rig out for the first time this season. This was parked next to us. 88 Prevost Liberty Coach.

Wow....that's a beauty! I'm drooling. I'd love to see some pics of the interior. Please keep it all original so it's a time capsule. It's a real head turner. I never understand why people take a beautiful original rig and then perform a lobotomy on it by slapping white paint all over the beautiful original wood interior. Thanks for sharing!

Krankyoptimi: That looks like it just came home from the dealer or something. I would love to see the inside. The outside looks brand new.

We are vintage kind of people. Our house was built in 1865 (it's furnished with high class, period furniture, East Coast style). But I won't bother you with that.
Purchased 1995 40' Vogue Prima Vista, with 3176 Cat, and Alison World 6 speed. We absolutely LOVE it! Has 100K miles, and WELL taken care off.
For your viewing pleasure:
