I'm done for the season. Finally, true dual exhaust with nice quiet mufflers and we go to Yellowstone for our first trip.

Very cool looking Dodge.

Wow, a '76. That looks like a fun project. It's going to be great!

Don't know if it qualifies as "Vintage" but...1990 F350 Lariat C/S, with matching 1990 S&S 11SCB cabover camper.

We rebuilt and replace all the rot in the S&S in 2011 and started modifying it for us, along with setting up "Red" for TC and towing duties. Our son talked us out of it in 2014, we weren't using it much then, had other commitments that took our time. Well they outgrew it, so we bought it back in August. It had been sitting on the side of the house for 2+ years neglected and sleeping in storage, turning pink and dulling out.

It took me couple of days to get Red back up and running and to scrub most of the pink off, then sent it to the local shop for a checkup and oil change. Had to replace the T-stat and temp sender and she was ready to go. Took the rest of the week getting the camper systems working, couldn't get the propane side of the fridge to work, but I'll get it. Then we loaded up and headed for home.

1,100+ miles in 3 days at 62 mph and we averaged 7.5 mpg...not bad considering. The 'ol 460 just grunted along at just under 17,000 gross with the AC on for the whole drive home.

We will finish what we started back in 2011 now and will probably keep the rig till we can't use it anymore, or it falls apart.

I think it’s older than 76. 76 started clear running lamps with amber bulbs.

Well, maybe it's been changed since then? I don't know, FLynes calls it a 1976 Monaco Winchester

Tyler is correct, it is a ‘76, however you are also correct...the chassis is a ‘75, Build Date is June 19, 1975. The incomplete chassis had a different style Dodge Truck Building Order sheet, and I have the two that were sent along to Monaco. Until I get a return phone call from Brian Obie (the owner of Caribou Manufacturing at the time), I’m going to assume it was built sometime in August of ‘75, And Caribou would have titled as a ‘76, since August is the beginning of the new model year.

Based on the chassis, this is a late 60’s Ford 1 ton camper called a Roll-a-Home. Anyone seen one before? Looked like someone was full time in this one.

Roll-a-long

i believe that the rig in the picture is a "Roll-a-long" and was built until the late 70's. If you search, you'll see a couple in the forum. That specific rig appears to be a 1971 based upon the Ford chassis and grille. There is a following for those. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah the logo was pretty faded, assumed it read “Home”. Also, most of the ones I found pictures of were slide-ins, so this seemed a bit more unique.

That's super cool! I saw one rolling down HWY 101 near Yachats just a couple days ago. First time I'd ever seen one in person
