That's a great looking Winnebago. I really like those Elandans and love everything about their cool designs. Especially all of those large windows. Thanks for sharing!!

I’m not judging at all but that looks like it was a lot of trailer especially considering the long overhang of the Coach behind the rear wheels. How did it handle going down the road?

As long the speed was under 65 it went ok. The rear airbags kept things level and the trailer was not overloaded. I ordered the trailer with a longer tongue for the motorhome. Gotta use truck stops for gas cause it's so long

This is my 1980 8 1/2 ft Coachman camper sitting on a 88 Ford 250. Sold it 5 years ago . Great camper, no leaks, everything worked.

I once had a 1980 Ford that looked just like yours. It was the prettiest truck in the county. I believe back then, the full size Ford pick up was a F100 Ranger.
I guess I was too hard on the pick up. I burned up two engines and then sold it to a young boy who just had to have it even knowing the engine was shot. The oil light came on when he started pulling out the driveway. We both laughed. He went into the engine and did some work. Then, he drove it for quite a while.

Not mine
Found this posted on the internet, no info other than:
"A fancy homebuilt motorhome, built on a Ford Model TT truck chassis in Ohio, 1924"
Thought you might find it intersting.

They still talk about how Dad sold atleast 5 others to family and friends but some said Georgie Boy and others said Cruise Master. My Uncle got rid of his without telling anyone last year and I want to find another in good condition.
All were 19' with tandem axles and looked like a box....LOL. I wish I had pics but they are all on slides and Dad will not let anyone go thru them.
The options were few but it slept 8 and had 2 tables that folded into beds and then a rear bunk.the sides were either Gold or Silver stripes of aluminum.
PLEASE contact me if anyone knows of any. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Last Saturday my prayers were answered:
A Wonderful couple found this in a Barn and we brought it home on 50 year old tires but it is original, needs only cleaning, tires and our Love again!
It's NOT our old one but is a Sister as the company only made them 2 years and had 1 floor plan.

That's quite a find. Enjoy it and the memories that it brings back.

I was asked if I would be interested in "donating" to a Museum" for Georgie Boy Travel Trailers.....I replied......"the Georgie Boy company laughed at me when I inquired about original literature". I was not being RUDE but if they didn't know they built them, where would they have a Museum?
Couple more pics.....
