Radiator leak Country coach 88. Can I remove via side access?

Hi, Whilst removing hydraulic fan I have scraped lower radiator with the fan and caused a small leak. Do not wish to use stop leak. Removal looks a nightmare so can I remove via side access door? Model is 88 Country coach Sedona? thankyou

We have an 89 and seeping oil and have not attempted to fix it...lazy is a labor saving excuse.

On yours what does the leak look like?

A rip tear or hole?

It may be able to be fixed in situ.

If no turbo then no intercooler so not real busy in there so removal through the bottom is option as well.

The leveler jacks kick down and if the unit is already down on low air they will not kick down so choice is to either borrow jack and jack stands ( you will need them anyway) or placing the fan motor back in to run engine to bring unit to ride height so the jacks can kick down.

We store ours on the jacks ...

Anyway the jacks can lift the unit a great amount and ate Huge so with tires blocked if needed and adding blocks under jacks if needed you should be able to lift the coach plenty high enough to drop the unit through.

Also contact gillig in california for drawings or other instructions if you do not have the chassis manual.

radiator out

thanks for info. Sourced a new seal for hydraulic pump ex US and bit the bullet and removed radiator for repair. Shocking job and not one I would ever recommend to anyone. Dropped out the bottom. Good thing is replacing hydraulic fan without blade will be easier. cheers
