Removing Generator from 90's Winnebago Warrior or Brave

Getting ready to service Onan genny. On my 23 RC,the generator has to be lowered from under the coach to be serviced. I haven't ever removed mine before. If anyone has done this I would appreciate any instructions or tips you may have about removal.

It’s not too hard to do just need to disconnect fuel lines power lines and battery lines and outside control wire if it has one and take out the bolts holding and let it down. I have a bobcat with a set of forks and I can get under it and let it down. But if you don’t have excess to such I have seen people use floor jacks and blocks but need to be careful maybe a extra hand to keep it balanced.

As Poobear said, it is not all that tough. Follow his instructions. If you don't have a Bobcat with forks, go to Hazard Fright and get a motorcycle lift. If you aren't working on pavement, get a sheet of plywood too.

Remember, the RV place will charge over 100$/hour. The lift and plywood are paid for before you put it back in.

Thanks Guys, I am experimenting with bolting a 20 x 20 sheet of 3/4 " plywood to my 4 ton floor jack to balance the generator.
Looking at the the generator it appears there are 6- 1/4" (2 bolts on 3 sides) bolts holding it in. That sound about right?
